Chapter 16: Sibling Love

(Eris P.O.V)

???: "Jets stop it!"

A bullet flew past the strangers head and he ducked under his clipboard, more bullets flying after him.

Jets': "Traitor! Scumbag! Asshole!"

The man opened a briefcase and pulled a gun out. He loaded it with a green liquid And aimed it towards them, blocking bullets with the clip board.

Eris: "Eyexa? Who is that?"

I pointed to the man with the white spiked hair and matching lab coat.

Eyexa: "His name is Burax, our older brother... they don't get along cause Burax kinda works for the Durok empire."

A bullet flew from his gun and his one of the Jets's, lighting flying from him and hitting the others before slowly dragging them into one body."

(Jets P.O.V)

My body had been returned to one person. I looked up at Burax who smiled at me.

Burax: "Welcom back to us broth-"

I started my bullets up again, him knocking them away with the clipboard.

Jets: "Don't call me that you piece of crap!"

Burax rolled away behind Eris and Eyexa.

Burax: "Look, I know you are mad at me for making the B-Droids but it isn't my fault."

I shot between Eyexa's legs and he ran away again, almost falling off the roof at one point trying to dodge my shots.

Burax: "They would have caught on if I made nothing."

I hit the box on my belt and pulled out Gokai Violet, locking it into my gun and aiming right at him.

I fired and he ducked.

~Final Wave~

Eris leapt forward and knocked my bullet away with her sword, the shot and the slash hitting a nearby building.

Jets: "Eris! That is dangerous!"

Eris: "Don't kill your own brother by the gods!"

Jets: "If it weren't for this bastard we wouldn't have to deal with the battle droids."

I pushed Eris to the side to walk past her but as I did she put her blade to my chest. I took a long breath then raised my gun to her head.

Jets: "You really don't want me to hurt this prick do you?"

Eris: "No, and that prick is your brother. In Durokian society family is very important."

I stood there thinking about that for a moment.

Jets: "I knew I would hate you."

I pulled the gun away and walked back to Eyexa. My head began to thump slightly. Burax came over to me with the suitcase and opened it to reveal one of the orbs that create battle droids.

Burax: "I brought this in hopes that it can be used in some way to fight the Durokian Empire."

I took it from the case and tossed it up, 5 battle droids appearing and landing immobile infront of me. I walked around them and scanning them top to bottom.

Jets: "Alright Eris, do your thing."

I turned away and began to walk away as Eris and Burax both walked up to the robot. Eyexa shrugged to me as I walked past.

Denor came running from downstairs towards me.

Denor: "Unc Star! Lady for you!"

Behind him Mer came from the stairway, her energy reading a bit sadder but her demeanour unchanged.

Jets: "Hey Mer, you alright?"

Mer: "You have a meeting with the Rider and Sentai defence team."

I scrunched my face up at her.

Jets: "I never arranged a meeting with them, whoever they are."

Mer: "No, they arranged it and I have been sent to collect you since I am the member you are most associated with."

I eased up and walked past her to the stairs.

Jets: "Alright then, take me to your leader."

I chuckled, alien jokes must be hilarious in this culture as she smiled slightly.
