Chapter 8: Tracked

I had been staring at the joker for what seemed like an eternity, feeling the energy, understanding it. Trying hard to turn it into some sort of key for me to use. Eris had been using my ring to create... well to be perfectly honest a pile of scrap metal with my ring on it. She says she will use it to connect to M-Five but... yeah i can't see it.

M-Five let out a loud beeping alarm as his screen burst to life showing a little red circle approaching the planet (as if like a submarines radar system) "Mark six Squadron F ship entering atmosphere." I put the joker down and stood up.

Eris took time to glance between the screen and me as i took a long deep breath in. I let out a small cough to clear my throat, put my hands in my jean pockets and spoke out without thinking. "Well crap... I will be right back, i'm just gonna check what those assholes are here for." I lifted the card as i passed it and headed for the door.

"Jets what are you going to do if they get suspicious? If they find out you are Geno then you are as good as excecuted." Eris stood up and turned to me as i stopped in place to think.

"There is only a Squadron F mark five ship on this planet, there aren't any pirates around so naturally Geno isn't here. It's as simple as that." I slowly walked out and watched two people dropping on ropes down to the city below. I took a quick breath then began running down the stairs to the city.

It had never occured to me that this planet was on a watchlist, it is routine that it is searched for pirate activity by the bounty hunter society. I turned the corner and saw the two squadron F hunters. Okay, now all i have to do is explain to them that there are no pirates here and everything should be fine. As i walked closer i saw them talking to another set of people, a teenage girl who stood in a black jacket and jeans with a large belt buckle and... Big one?!

"You know fair and well that we could use your help in catching Geno, we know he is here and there is no denying it. There would be a reward in it for you once you turn him in and helping the hunters society would benefit your planet greatly." I didn't recognise either of the two hunters, perhaps new recruits put in after a recent job raffle.

"Sorry but we as super sentai would prefer to leave him as he is, in fact we are trying to train him to become like us." Big one stood forward from the girl before she moved him to the side and spoke up louder than him.

"And the Riders see you as a much bigger threat than he is, don't think we forgot about all the crap you put us through before!" Big one had to step in front of her and try to calm her.

"Then you are an enemy to our organisation and must be put in your place." The two hunters pushed buttons on their belts that dropped small cubes into their hands and a small bar. The bar extended into short poles and began surging electricity. They dropped the cubes which instantly formed into ten robotic humanoids each with a single gun arm on their right. They took aim and let lasers loose. Big one jumped high into the air to avoid them and the girl spin kicked a few away, creating jets of flames from her feet as she spun. She pulled a card out of a small compartment on the side of her belt and threw it, the card cut the head off of one of the robots and came back like a boomerand as the droid dropped to the floor.

As Big one landed he held the rose from his tuxedo in his hand. "Making enemies isn't something we want to do in our state, but for the peace of our planet we will do anything to protect the innocent." He sniffed the rose and in an instant was turned into his suited form, white with a red, blue, pink and green design on the face. "I am Joker, the sole remainder of JAKQ, Big One!" He held out a white staff and used it to knock away one of the laser shots from the droids.

The girl's belt switched around as if the buckle was turned 90 degrees with a slot in the top. "And whats worse you just tried to pick a fight with the most powerful kamen rider to pass through." She pushed the card straight into the slot and turned the buckle back to being straight.

-Decade-

Ghost like figures began circling around her until they all clashed into her, creating a black suit all over her. Thin slates flew from her belt and attached themselves to her face which filled her headpiece with a red colour on the front. "Yes, I am Mer, just a passing by Kamen rider... Kamen Rider Decade two!" She pulled out another card and threw it straight into a robots chest.

I ran back away from the fight and pulled my Gokai violet key out. What the hell was going on, a fight but for a reason I didn't know of. I shook my head trying to ignore the sound of lasers and lightning strikes being shot from the batons. "God I cant take this anymore... Gokai change!" I turned the key and the letters flew out around me and hit me before changing me into The form of the purple pirate. I ran out behind them and kicked one of the into the robots line of fire getting him shot several times before he collapsed. The second one swung at me and sent me flying into the robots themselves.

"So this is the guy you gave the card to Joker, got to say im not impressed so far." I stood up and looked at her before pulling her card out of the droid and looking to the hunter.

I looked down at the card in my hand... sadness, loss, tragedy, death, loneliness and hatred. The card eminated such harsh feelings. I let a few tears stream from my eyes as the emotions began to mess with my head. "I am the greatest pirate to have ever sailed the sky. My name is Geno." I flicked the corners of my coat backwards. "Gokai Violet!" The hunter hit me with the end of the baton and electrocuted me slightly. I stepped back to regain my stance when I was suddenly met with lasers from all sides.

"So you are the pirate that Jets has been struggling to capture, i'm frankly not surprised I already out rank him already if he can't even capture you." This guy was pushing it, my hand tightened on the card and tears began streaming from my eyes. The card glowed as it was shifted into a key form. I opened my palm to see a figure that was red at the face and shoulders, yellow on the torso and green along the lower body.

I shook slightly as I formed the glove and put the key into it. "No matter the pain... and no matter the suffering" Mer looked at me and unformed to her coat and jeans, she covered her mouth and let a few tears out herself. "I plan on taking the treasure of this planet and in situations like these, taking out an oppressive force." My hand shook as I grabbed and turned the key. "Gokai Change!"

My glove made a small clicking for a second then large coins began circling me. A red one stooped in front of my face and a new voice erupted from my glove. "TAKA!" A second yellow one stopped in front of my chest. "TORA" And a green one stopped at my legs. "BATA!" the coins then flew into me and changed my form into the keys as the new voice chanted.

~ TA-TO-BA TATOBA TA-TO-BA ~

As I changed the area around me began turning black, my eyesight narrowing, all I could make out was the drawing of an axe and me running and swinging it at the hunter before my vision failed me entirely.
