Chapter 8 - Explanation

"Ku-kuroko!"

Ogiwara squealed in delight, jumping out of his seat to give the poor tealette a bone crushing hug. He noticed the other flinched once he accidentally brushed his stomache.

'So this was the part he was shot' the brunette worriedly thought, before backing away completely.

"Sorry..." he sheepishly said.

"It's okay. I'm home." Kuroko whispered back, a small smile gracing his face, before looking at the astonished group then at Kagami.

"I'm back, Kagami-kun. How is he doing?"

Kagami shrugged. "Don't know, haven't checked on him. He's probably just sleeping" he scowled, continuing to wolf down his bowl full of food. The others just stared at him in wonder and disgust.

Kuroko and Ogiwara ignores it completely, already used to the red heads antics.

"Tetsuya" the captain suddenly called, elegantly sitting at one of the cream-colored couches. The room became silent, hetechromatic eyes gazed at blank, teal ones before the red head continued. 

"I believe you owe us a long explanation"

The two stared at each other in silence, having a quiet conversation that only the two of them understand. Once everyone watches the red head's  brow rises, the small passer sighed and began to walk over to the group, sitting at the carpeted floor in front of Ogiwara's legs.

"I'll try and answer your questions, so please ask in a calm and organized matter"

The Miracles then looked at each other before placing their whole attention to the teal head.

"Tetsu!" Aomine abruptly shouted causeing everyone to look at him, surprised. "Are you okay?!" He frantically asks, examining his partner from head to toe, looking for possible injuries.

"I'm alright Aomine-kun, I appreciate your concern. Akito-san was the one who helped me with my injuries" Kuroko then glanced at the tall, elderly man standing at the corner of the room. He gave a small bow once he earned the attention of the group.

"So Kurokocchi, can you explain what exactly are you? I don't mean it to sound as offending by the way." The blond then asks.

"Do I have to say everything?" The tealette inquires, looking at the group then at Akashi, who just nodded.

Kuroko tiredly sagged his shoulders before answering the blond's question.

"I am a member of an organization known as Teiko, which all of you happens to know so well..."

Their eyes widen in shock. Teiko has an underground secret organization!?

"Wh-what!? How come you didn't tell us about this!?" Aomine yelled, incredibly confused and surprised.

"It's too dangerous. Others can track you down, thinking you were involved with us which can cause to an instant death or hold you hostage for an exchange with us. It's all too risky to let you all know."

The colorful bunch seemed to contemplate about the his statement before slowly nodding their heads in agreement.

"Mou, you could at least tell us about your house or that you're pretty rich"

Kuroko just shrugged. "You all didn't ask"

"Wha-! ugh, nevermind."

The green haired male then decides it was his turn to ask next.

"How were you able to get involved with the organization? Is it because of your low presence that they decided to recruit you?"

Ogiwara then thought that he can take this chance to explain this part. "What  recruit? Kuroko owns the organization and your school!" He says enthusiastically.
