Only a few minutes has passed and the miracles stared at the screen in disbelief.
Here they were trying their best to watch the high-paced battle ongoing inside the forest. But what incredibly amuses them is that their phantom was nowhere to be seen. Of course they knew of his low-presence, but to actually dissapear inside the game was just amazing.
The miracles were dumbfounded as to how and why Kagami would sometimes continue to shoot at a distance when nothing was there unless, it was the tealette himself but just moving around so fast with his low-presence...
-----
Kagami panted, his back resting on a tree as he reloads his gun. It really has been a while since he had any practice with his partner, and he knows the latter doesn't even have time to train lately. The tall red head thought that he finally had the upper hand in this game but he was so wrong.
A bullet suddenly whizzed across, just about to hit him in the chest if not for his instincts that made him dodge it. He immediately stood up and scanned his surroundings, cursing himself for not paying attention.
A sudden movement at the distance made him continuously shoot his gun towards that direction. Once he thought the movement stopped, he slowly began to step back, about to run when a gentle voice suddenly spoke behind him.
"Kagami-kun should pay more attention"
And just like that, Kagami was out of the game with a resounding bang.
Red, widened eyes looked behind him to find the tealette long gone, only leaving drops of teal paint rolling from his back. He sighs, defeated, before walking back to the base as he quietly reprimanded himself of his mistake.
One down, two more to go...
-----
He ran from branch to branch, his breath muted as he moved, before stopping at a tree he deems to be tall enough to hide his presence, the utmost thing his father had taught him.
Nigou squints his eyes, scouring his environment. There were no movements so far, still he kept alert, not underestimating the skills of his father.
A few minuted has past and the boy finally heard the soft rustling of leaves. Immediately, he hid his body on the trunk, his gun ready to shoot at any moment, that is until he heard a soft, whistling tune.
The young boy immediately recognized the sound and popped his head to the side. Sure enough, there stood Ogiwara with his wide, goofy smile as he waves at the boy.
The latter smiled and waved back. Yes, the only people that he respects are his father and Ogiwara, even Kagami himself but the boy was too shy to admit it.
He swung his legs on a large branch before elegantly landing on the ground. The brunette chuckled, ruffling the black and white locks.
"Well done, Nigou for reaching this far" Ogiwara says proudly which made the latter grin.
"Apparently Kagami was shot just awhile ago and were the only ones left" he exhales, as looked at the artificial sky. "Wanna work with me?"
Teal eyes glistened with excitement, looking at brunette before him. If both of them worked together, they might even have a fighting change againt the small phantom.
The boy nodded enthusiastically. "So what's the plan?" he asks. Brown eyes stared at teal ones, a silent conversation passed between them, before a mischievous smile grew on their faces.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Ogiwara grins, pushing against his knuckles as it made a cracking sound.
"Finally! I've been waiting for a chance to test that one out" The boy smirks.
