They both hid, now taking cover behind some bushes and shrubs, as the tealette slowly slits the stranger's throat without even batting an eyelash. Ogiwara watched with pursed lips as the lifeless corpse fell on the ground.
"Are you okay?" The brunette gently whispers while he intensely watched the phantom, who is currently eyeing the group hiding not far from them.
They weren't exactly hurrying, but there were some people who they needed to get back to, especially if it involves him. Kuroko looks at him impassively.
"I'm alright, Ogiwara-kun. It's just that it would take awhile for it to turn back though..." as the tealette says this, his hand was slowly placed on his eyes, closing it, before he puts it back on his side.
He was then greeted with piercing, dark blue eyes. Ogiwara shivered in fear, unconsciously straightening his back once he saw them.
Meanwhile Kuroko, who noticed his friend's uncomfortable state, frowned before looking back at the foreign group.
"I'm sorry..." he mutters quietly.
Brown eyes widened as he realized that he had done it again. He mentally slapped himself.
The brunette nervously flails his arms. "No it's okay! I just got startled at the sudden change. Look, I already told you th-"
He looked back at the spot, the teal passer once was but the phantom was already gone.
"You stupid idiot!" He quietly berates himself before walking towards the foreign group before him.
The brunette just silently holds his dagger as he joins the tealette in his small execution.
---Meanwhile...---
"Haizaki!" Kagami hissed.
The other's smirk grew wider, chuckling darkly, until he approaches the red haired male.
"Now, now, is that how you greet your old friend?" The raven head teasingly says.
The latter glares at him. "Old friend my ass" he scoffs. "I'll call you that if you didn't have the gull to be a traitor amongst us"
Haizaki's smirk slowly faded, replacing it with a recognizable scowl.
"Do you even think that I would spend my whole life under his hands, with the only purpose is saving other people's useless lives?!"
The statement made the red head growl. His hands tightening around the gun's trigger.
Of course, Haizaki noticed this, his smirk once again plastered on his face and continued speaking.
"I only joined your 'boss' so that I can legally kill people. But as time passed, I got incredibly bored, and that's when the idea hit me. I decided to join him. I mean, isn't that much more enjoyable than saving lives?!" A dark chuckle escaped the raven head's lips.
The laughter soon died down with Haizaki suddenly emanating bloodlust.
"And did you see the look on his face once I took his little brother's life?" The red head widened his eyes once his cheek was suddenly cut by the small dagger Haizaki held. He immediately backed away from the teen.
Another slash made it's way towards Kagami but the latter dodged it in time.
"The way he fell on his knees, crying, as he begged me to spare the brat's life"
The red head shoots his gun towards the raven head but he too, dodged the attack.
"It was such a beautiful sight to behold. Seeing that irritating facade finally break down into tiny, little pieces. And before I knew it, I wanted more, I needed more..."
