Chapter Five

*4 Months Later*

-Matthew's POV-

Its been 4 miserable Months. I haven't been able to see Savannah at all. The only times I see her is when shes in the hallways with Jack. Shes always laughing and her eyes sparkle with joy every time she sees him. At least shes happy right? I lost my train of thought when my phone started ringing. Its Carter.

"Hey Man , whats up?"

"Nothing just thinking"

"Let me guess , Savannah? "

I laughed.

"You know me so well"

"Well Ive known you for over 5 years now bro , How about I go to your house so we can play some video games or we can go to the mall and walk and maybe ill find a girl for you"

"Carter you know no one else can replace her. But sure Lets go to the mall and get some food"

"Alright then ill be over at your house in a bit , laterz!"

Before i could even say bye the call ended.

-Carter's POV-

"Alright then ill be over at your house in a bit , laterz!" I said quickly before Matt changed his mind.

"CARLY ARE YOU READY?!" She has been getting ready for almost an hour now and she still hasn't finished. Anyways Carly is my sister and shes the same age as Matt. Shes 5.2 , has light brown hair and Hazel colored eyes.Shes always had a crush on Matt ever since she met him and Has always been afraid of what Matt would say if he found out she liked him but today she was willing to take the risk. I told her she couldn't come because Matt wasn't really in the mood and he needed me but shes so stubborn. She hasn't seen Matt since 6th grade because she moved with my parents and had to move schools but now shes back and is living with my aunt and I.

She came walking down the stairs.

"Stop pressuring me , I want to look good for Matt."

I rolled my eyes.

"You look beautiful but you know Matt is in love with Savannah , Carly."

"So? That doesn't mean I cant change that. Now lets go i don't want to keep Matt waiting." She grabbed my arm and went to my car . I turned the engine on and headed to Matts house.

-Matthew's POV-

I cant do this anymore , I need to tell Savannah. I grabbed my phone and was about to text her when i received a text from her.

To:Matthew,Melissa, Raquel

Hey guys! Guess what just happened?!:D

We all replied back and asked what was it. Then she replied.

Jack and I are going on a date and i dont know why but i have a feeling Jack is going to ask me to be his girlfriend today ahh im so excited , wish me luck🙊

I wished her luck. & at that moment I knew I had to tell her how I felt about her. I called her and told her if we could meet each other at Starbucks and she gladly accepted. Tomorrow will be the day i finally tell her how i feel. Im willing to risk it.

I quickly went to open it and grabbed his arm and pulled him in.

"Bro, Im finally going to tell her how I feel." I quickly told him.
