New Neighbors

"Thats so funny! I work here." Franny tells us.

"Oh this is my sister by the way, Emily." Introducing them to each other.

"Hi nice to meet you." Emily says, giving her a warm smile and Franny returning it.

"So Alex, my shift ends at 2 and we can go shopping them if you want?"

"Ya that would be great, because we have to meet the movers and all our stuff this morning."

Franny shakes her head, understanding  and asks for our orders. I got the chocolate chip pancake breakfast with a side of bacon. Im a child at heart what can I say?

After we were done eating our delicious food, we payed and said goodbye to Franny.

The movers had arrived around 10am and we had put together all the big furniture and placed it in their rooms. 

When I had finally gotten my dresser up to my room, with the help of the movers, I started to unpack all my clothes into it. I actually really liked my room. It had a light blue and white beach theme to it. I want to get sea shells from the beach one day to add everywhere so it really comes across as beachy.

On my nightstand I placed a framed picture of my mom and my dad, holding me as a baby. 

My dad had passed away when I was 6 from a bad car accident. All I really remember about him is that he was just really involved in my sister and I's lives. He had taught me how to play baseball practically since i was born, so naturally I've played softball my entire life. Got to admit, I have a pretty good arm.

"Alex we have to go food shopping!" Emily called to me from downstairs.

I walked down to the kitchen and almost on cue Emily grabbed her keys and we got in the car. Within ten minutes we were at the grocery store.

"Here." Emily handed me a list of the things I needed to get, and she left with hers.

As I walked down the chip isle I heard a familiar British accent behind me.

"What are w- hey Alex!" Harrison waved to me with a big smile on his face. Bobby not far behind him vlogging.

"Hi Harrison."

Bobby whispered something to Harrison. Then Bobby took out his camera and started to record Harrison.

Next thing I knew, Harrison was running towards me, then lifted me me up in the air in a huge bear hug.

"Harrison put me down!" I flailed my legs, laughing unable to get out of his embrace.

"Harrison just likes to go around hugging strangers." Bobby shrugged to the camera.

"No guys just kidding we know Alex!" When Harrison put me down Bobby came up to me and put his arm around my shoulder and I looked up at him laughing.

Why does everyone in LA seem so friendly?

We had started talking and somehow Kian had gotten brought up.

"Are Kian and Franny- like um do they have a thing?" could I have sounded more like an awkward middle schooler?

"Oh my god no! What!?" Harrison laughs at me. Thats a relief but I need to change the subject asap.

"Shoot, Im supposed to meet Franny at 2. I have to find Emily."  I looked down at my phone and saw that it was already 1:30. This place is huge, theres no way Im going to find her in time and even if I do she probably won't want to leave.

"If you want we could give you a ride. We are neighbors you know." Bobby offered.

"That would be great! I have to go buy these real quick. Don't you guys have any groceries?" Seeing that they didn't have a cart or anything in their hands.

"Hahah no, we just came here so Bob can get vlog footage." Harrison said looking at Bobby who was down the isle saying something to the camera.

I texted Emily telling her that Bobby would drive me home. We walked over to checkout and I bought the groceries. The boys helped me carry the bags to the car and we got in.

"Harrison will you take the camera?" Since Bobby was driving he couldn't vlog.

Harrison took his camera and started to record himself and bobby driving.

"How often do you upload?" I asked Bobby.

"Usually I try to three times a week. Wow you're not a fan are you!" He jokingly says looking back at me. Harrison recording all of this.

"No I can be! I just don't really watch youtube videos!" I defend myself.

"You heard it here first. Alex is my number one fan."Bobby smirks into the camera.

When we all got to Bobby's house, I thanked them and walked home with my food.

After I was done putting it all away, I got a text from Franny.

Franny: Hey ready to go shopping?

Me: Ya def!

Franny: Want to come to our house and I can drive us!

Me: On my way

I grabbed my cross body purse and started to walk next door.

"Oh hey?" A curios faced answered the door when I knocked.

"Oh hi um Franny is supposed to be taking me shopping. Im the new neighbor."

"Oh your the one Kian was taking about. Im Corey." Wait what was that first part?

Corey opened the door and I walked it. I could see the backyard through huge glass doors, wow they have a pool?

Then I saw a shirtless Kian jumping in, making some really weird face, screaming. Still cute though.

"Woahhh hey Alex." Jc sloppily says.

"Ok lets go before they all notice you're here." Franny says before grabbing my hand, leading us to her car.

"Am I really that bad?" 

"Oh no, you're just hot and they're all fucking creeps sometimes." I laugh at that last part.

After a short car ride we got to what I think is the grove? Ive only seen this place on movies.

"Lets get some bathing suits first!" Franny then leads us to some really cool looking swim shop.

I start looking around and grab a few suits.

"You would look good in this!" She practically yells to me from across the store and hands me one. Its a very stringy stray black one that doesn't even look like a bathing suit.

"Did you just hand me black floss?"

"Lets go try these on!" She squeals.

Im not some country girl who's afraid of her body. I like to show a little skin and the suits that I picked out, did. Not too much skin though. But that black one, shows too much for comfort but I did look pretty sexy, have to admit. Why not get it? My family gave me some money so I could 'get settled' here but lets just spend it on clothes.

After, what seemed like forever, we were done shopping Franny drove us back to her house.

"Do you want to come in?" She asks me.

"Ya sure."

"I think Im going to make a swim. Give me a chance to where a new suit." 

"I want to swim!" Maybe catch the attention of a certain blonde boy too.
