[later that evening]
Finn has packed up his bags and you just dropped him off at the airport.
You guys haven't talked all day. Your eyes are still puffy from crying all day,
His plane is called out for boarding... You both look over at the stand where they take your tickets. "It's time." He says. You give him a glare, trying to hold back tears because you don't want him to know how much you care, how much you want him to stay.
A tear gently rolls off on the side of your face. He stands up and walks over to you and sits next to you. "Listen... I didn't want it to end up like this. I just don't think we're ready for this yet." He exclaims.
You wait a few seconds staring off into the distance pondering the words he's saying.
"But nothing was going wrong... Everything was just right." You say and look at him with your watered eyes and red face. He takes your hand and intertwines your fingers one last time before he leaves.
"Last call for boarding plane ----" is said over the intercom.
He stands up and so do you. Your fingers still locked in place. He gives you a kiss on the cheek and slowly walks away leaving your hands to unwind themselves.
You watch him board the plane, he gives you one last look and mouths "bye" with a saddened face...and they close the doors.
You stand there for a few more seconds and whisper to yourself "goodbye"
