Chapter 4: The Walk and The Talk

...
(45 minutes later)
Sadie whispers into your ear "Are you ready to go walk now? Or do you need a couple more mins?"

"No I'm good, let's do this." You say in response

"Okay!" Sadie then tells everybody (your group) where You, Millie and Her are going and ask if they'd like to join, they agreed. So you all head down by the river and start walking on the sidewalk.

At first it's just the girl group up ahead and the boys in the back, you look behind you and lock eyes with Finn once again, he gives you a smirk and then Gaten nudges him.
You turn back in front of you and hear...

"Just go talk to her already"

"I can't, I have no idea what to talk about." Says Finn in reply to Gaten

"Y/N is really easy to talk to, just, go!"

All of a sudden you see Finns dark curly hair pop up in the corner of your eye, he's walking beside you and he says...

"Soooo what are you gonna be up to this summer?"

"Oh nothing too exciting, I'm going to visit some family out in Colorado, and then I have a couple of interviews scheduled as well with the girls. What about you?" You reply.

"Colorado, nice! Uhmm... Well... Uh.... I'm going back to Canada for most of the summer, and then I'm working on an album release with my band. So I guess that's it."
He says.

"Ooh an album release? That's exciting! But I hope I'll get to see ya sometime this summer, we'll have to make plans." You say

"Yeah, definitely!" He says in reply.

You and Finn are ahead of the others but you can hear them all talking about you and Finn. You start to blush. And you think to yourself...... Why not? Why not go for it? If he's not interested then that will be done and at least you'll know...

"Hey, Finn?" You ask ...

I'm so excited for the next chapter, I know it's probably predictable but just in case I won't spoil anything for you guys... Stay tuned Strangers!
