Chapter One - Pizza Party

Brittany's POV

I was with my friends Calum, Ashton, Luke, and Michael. I'm also with my friends Maddie, Brianna, and Taylor. Yes, I am friends with 5SOS. I'm friends with 1d too. How? I was friends with them since grade 9. We're graduated now. Were all 20-24 years old. So far it's been good. No terrible fights. No relationships. All just good times and good vibes. But I'm not too sure it will stay that way since we're close with my other friends that are girls. There might be feelings. Good or bad. We don't know. But for now, we're just having fun and living life in the moment. We're at Michaels house right now, just talking and taking turns playing GTA.

"Die, bastard!" Calum shouts at the screen as he kills virtual cops.

Luke laughs, "Hey, we should call the lads down here", he suggested. 'The lads' are one direction. "Sure", I said. "Hey" Michael says, "Are we forgetting who's house this is?" He joked. Luke rolled his eyes. "Michael, can I invite one direction to your house?" He asked. "Hmm" Michael said sarcastically, "Yes". So Luke phoned them. 20 minutes later, they're all here. We greeted them.

"Grand Theft Auto! I wanna play!" Louis cheered. Calum groaned and handed over the controller to Louis.

"I'm hungry", Niall groaned. "You're always hungry", Taylor laughed. Niall just rolled his eyes. "Let's order pizza", Maddie said. "Ham and cheese!" I yelled. "Pepperoni!" Liam yelled. "Meatball!" Niall said. "Can we just have cheese pizza?" Michael asked. "No!" Liam and Niall said in harmony. Zayn laughed. "Why don't we just order like three pizzas with all different kinds of toppings?" I asked. Maddie started laughing. We all looked at her. She just kept laughing. "What's so funny?" Asked Zayn. "You guys are literally arguing" -she caught her breath- "about pizza!" She finished. "What?" Asked Michael. "Pizza is really good", Michael looked dead serious as he was saying that. Maddie stopped laughing, and it was silent for a few seconds. That is, until Harry started laughing. Then we all started laughing. Even the people who weren't even in the conversation. A few minutes later, we stopped. "Who's paying?" Luke asked. "Uh.." I trailed off. "Let's all chip in 5 bucks?" I said. He nodded. "Okay. I'll go order it. Uh, 3 large pizzas, one half cheese half ham and cheese, one half meatball and half pepperoni.. And the other one?" He asked. "Taco pizza!" Brianna shouted. Luke nodded. Then I noticed something; Ashton has been being so quiet. He hasn't even spoken for the last half hour. I looked at him, and he was staring at Maddie. She hadn't noticed though.

I bumped Maddies shoulder and she looked at me. Everyone was talking so it didn't bring attention to us. I put my hand and my mouth to her ear. "Have you noticed Ashton's been really quiet?" I whispered. I pulled away and she nodded. She looked at him and noticed that he'd been looking at her. He smiled at her and she blushed.

"Why are you being so quiet, Ashton?" She asked him. He smirked. "Just distracted" he winked. Maddie smiled at him and eyed him, then looked away and started talking again. Oh god. Do they like each other? I hope not, I don't want drama. But I guess it really isn't up to me.
