Chapter Two - Roomates

Brittany's POV

That night there had been no more flirting, and Ashton was being loud again. Like normal. We all had pizza, and there was only 2 pieces left over. I don't know why, but Niall got to take them home. Maybe because he is always so hungry. It was the next day now, and I was home. It was 9:15. I just woke up, and I had an idea. A crazy idea? Maybe. A fun idea? Definitely. I went on my phone and opened my messages app. I added everyone to a group chat. 5sos, 1d, and my girl friends. I typed slowly and carefully.

"I have an idea. Let's all live together" I texted. They took minutes to reply. Maybe thinking. Or maybe they just didn't see the text.

"Where would we get the money?" Liam texted back. I thought for a minute.

"If all our houses get sold, well definitely have enough money for an awesome house", I replied.

"How will we find a house with 13 rooms?" Michael asked. I let out a deep breath. This is a huge decision, but I think they like my idea.

"We don't. We can find a house with like 8 rooms and most of us can share" I texted.

"Let's meet up at my house in 10 minutes and talk about this" Taylor suggested. We all agreed. So I threw on a floral crop top and black pleather high waisted shorts. I put my hair up in a bun. I put on concealer, mascara, and lip balm and I threw on my black converse and got into my car. I drove to Taylor's house, and 3 minutes later I was there. I walked in without walking and saw Niall, Taylor, Brianna, Ashton, Luke, Zayn, Liam, Louis, and Calum all sitting on the couch in the living room.

"Maddie Michael and Harry aren't here yet?" I asked. Liam and Zayn shook their head. I came and sat beside Brianna. We all talked as we waited for the rest of the crew to get here. 5 minutes later, we're all here. We all sit in a circle to talk. This is really serious mso everyone is quiet. Were quiet for 20 seconds until I start talking.

"So, if we want to live together, we can't all have our own rooms. So about ten of us are going to have to have a roomie, so there's eight rooms" I said. "Who wants to have a roommate, put your hand up. I want to also". I saw nine hands shoot up. Luke, Brianna, Maddie, Calum, Louis, Michael, Zayn, Harry, and Liam. I wrote names down on a piece of paper. "Okay, hands down" I said "now who wants to room with who?" I asked. We agreed on Calum and Louis, and Zayn and Liam. "Okay", I said "That leaves Maddie, Me, Brianna, Harry, Luke, and Michael" I said. "I'll room with Maddie" Michael said. He looked at Maddie "if that's okay with you", "yeah, yeah. That sounds fine" Maddie smiled. I noticed Ashton clenched his jaw for a second. I wrote down the names. Luke, Me, Harry, and Brianna. "I guess I'll room with Harry" Brianna said and looked at Harry. He smiled and nodded. "That just leaves Luke.. And me" I said. Luke smiled when I said that. He's been quiet this whole time. Was he trying to get a room with me? I just smiled a little. "Okay, me and Luke will share a room then" I said.

We sat and talked about the rooms and arrangements for a good five minutes. It seemed like everyone was happy about it. Especially the people who didn't have roommates; Taylor, Ashton, and Niall. I thought about what I was saying earlier, and I guess I've been pretty bossy. But I guess someone has to be. It worked out good, anyway. Then I started thinking about the price.

"We kinda gotta talk about price" I said. Everyone looked at me. "Yeah" Louis said as he rubbed his shoulder.

"So, if we all put our houses for sale, and like three or four of us get our houses sold, well have the money to buy a new one. So here's my plan. For example, let's take Louis, Calum, Ashton, and Zayn. Zayns house gets sold. Zayn can maybe move in with Louis. Louis' house gets sold. Louis can move in with Ashton, and Zayn can move in with Calum. Or vice versa, whatever" I said. It took 30 seconds for everyone to really process it, but eventually they understood. We talked about it more, and the plan was done. We're going to live together.
