As soon as Charles went around the back of the house he kicked down the door and ran inside but I stayed back when I thought I saw someone run between some houses in the backyard. I then walked towards the person I saw run past, I knew that if Luke was in the house then Damien and Charles would get him but if he ran out as soon as we pulled up that could be him running away. Last time he had me in that room he escaped the room just before the FBI burst in, he could have ran out as soon as he heard the sirens down the street.

I then took off seeing the guy run further away, I ran through a neighbors backyard and down the street to where I last saw the guy. Jaxton was following right behind me but he spoke up as soon as I stopped running and stood in the street, "We shouldn't leave Damien and Charles." He advised but I didn't listen as I saw the guy sprint between another two houses and I took off again, I was determined to get him.

If he knew we figured out who he was there's no doubt he will move far away and we'll never see him again. So with my chest burning and my back throbbing, I continued to run after my only chance of redemption.

I ran down the alley I saw the man go into but he wasn't there, then as I turned around about to go back out I saw Luke run out of a corner. He went straight towards Jaxton, who had continued following me, and put an arm around his neck while pointing a gun at his head. I didn't hesitate as I pulled out my gun and pointed it at the man holding Jaxton but there was no way I could be able to shoot Luke without hitting Jaxton.

I was right about Luke taking off as soon as the FBI pulled up, and I went after him but now neither Damien nor Charles were here for help. I realized what a bad plan this was as I just stared at Luke's gun pointed towards Jaxton's head.

"I told you this wasn't over Arizona." Luke smirked as I just stared ahead at the two of them, he was trying to get into my head but I needed to clear my head if I was going to protect Jaxton. I can't let myself show fear because that is what he wants, he wants to see that he's broken me.

This is what he wanted and I can't let him see the fear in my eyes, I tried calming my wild heart as I continued to stare ahead.

"Just put the gun down and we can all leave here in one piece." I said but Luke just smiled, he knew that I was nervous even if I didn't show it. I could clear all expression from my face but fear will always show in my eyes.

He continued to smile and hold his gun up to Jaxton's head making me go insane, if he hurts him I'm going to lose it.

"You just don't want me to shoot your precious boyfriend." Luke said as I could see his finger tighten on the trigger making my heart stop and my brain find a solution to stop this guy.

I shifted on my feet nervously while my heart sped up again, I made a promise to myself to protect everyone from this guy. I needed to get him to put his gun down and the only way I thought I could get him to do it was by shooting him, but I didn't have a good shot. And even if I did have a shot the second I pull my trigger he'll pull his and I can't risk Jaxton getting hurt.

"I'll let you go if you just put your gun down." I said as I watched carefully for any signs that Luke is going to fire his gun. I need to reason with him and make him see that there are other better options besides hurting people.

Luke just shakes his head in response and was about to pull the trigger to his gun when I noticed Damien run up behind us. Luke hears him, looks back at Damien, and points his gun at him while Damien pulls out his gun instantly and points it him. I still can't find a clean shot with Jaxton in the way, he's using him as a shield from me but nothing stood in between Damien and Luke who had their guns pointed at each other.

Jaxton notices Luke's attention is drawn towards Damien and he elbows him the stomach so he could try and get away but Luke quickly tightened his hold on Jaxton's neck. I could see pain in Jaxton's eyes as he was having trouble breathing with the tight grip around his neck, it hurt me to see him so vulnerable.
