I woke up in the morning to the sound of a car starting across the street.

I looked out the window to see it was still dark. I surprisingly slept okay, even though I spent most of the night praying that Jaxton wasn't a serial killer or a rapist, or even worse, secretly working for the government.

Knowing that I couldn't go to sleep after I woke up, I crossed the room and put on a pair of sweatpants and a tight t-shirt. I really needed more money so I can buy more clothes. As I did that I realized that my side felt and looked way worse then it did yesterday. I'm just going to keep taking more Advil so I can't feel anything in my side, I needed to ignore it.

I then put on my converse and walked downstairs, deciding to go for a jog. It's always been a habit of mine to take jogs, it really helps me clear my head and try to stay focused. I didn't think Jaxton was not awake yet so I just walked outside of his house and started to jog down the street.

I soon made my way to the main part of town. This town had everything, I could tell the town acted like it was small by the way everyone knew everyone but, in reality, there was a lot of people and businesses in town. They had every kind of business here, so far I have already seen two grocery stores, a law firm, many knick-knack stores, even a college.

I soon made my way towards the beach front, only stopping to take a break a couple times. The sun was just now coming up and the beach was beautiful with the suns rays peaking over the horizon. There were a few people on the beach, jogging like I am or couples taking a walk. I also saw some kids scouring the beach for seashells.

I ran down the beach in the sand trying my best to avoid the incoming waves. I then made it to a more quiet part of the beach farther away from the gigantic pier. I stopped and sat on the sand, enjoying the breeze in my hair and the sound of seagulls warming me.

The Advil plus the fact that I was sitting on the beach, made me forget about my burning side, even though the jog here was a struggle.

Soon the sun was just over the horizon, it had to be about 7 o'clock. I got up from my spot on the beach as more people showed up on the beach taking their early morning run. I started to run back to Jaxton's house. I just hope I can find it again, I mean I know what his house looks like but I wasn't exactly paying attention as to where I was running. Earlier I followed the scent of the salt in the ocean water.

As I ran back down the main street I ran down earlier this morning there were now many cars on the streets. I stopped at an intersection as a police car pulled up beside me and I instinctively froze. I thought I was doing good avoiding law enforcement, I was even making sure as to not look at street cameras this morning.

I could feel the police officer's eyes on my back but I shook it off trying not to act suspiciously. When the walk light turns green I started to jog again. Thank god the police officer didn't make anything of it and drove off in the other direction.

It only took me a few wrong turns before I found my way back to Jaxton's house at I'm guessing seven thirty. I opened the door quietly, not knowing if Jaxton is already up or not.

I closed the door behind me when I took a step inside his house. I knew Jaxton wasn't sleeping when I walked into the kitchen to find him sitting at the counter on his computer. I am sweating pretty badly right now and I don't want Jax to see or smell me.

Hearing footsteps Jaxton turned around and raised his eyebrows when he saw me. "What time did you get up at? Looks like you've been running for hours." Jaxton said looking me up and down. I rubbed some sweat off of my pants before I responded.
