I walked out of the hospital room with a clean set of clothes on, a sling around my arm, and bandages underneath my shirt. Finding my way down the hall to the hospital lobby where Jaxton and Damien were sitting, Trinity was standing near the front doors as though she wanted to leave.

As soon as Jaxton and Damien saw me they stood up with wide eyes, they must not know I was leaving. "Did they tell you you could leave?" Damien asked strictly looking towards the desk with a nurse behind it as though he expected me to go back to my room.

I just nodded my head and walked up to the desk the woman was sitting at, "Do you already have my medicines ready?" I questioned the woman who nodded then turned around grabbed a bag and gave it to me as though she knew who I was.

Damien and Jaxton seemed shocked that I just went through a major personality change, and I have to thank Trinity for knocking some sense into me real quick. I could still feel my soul in pieces but there was some hope now that I can get revenge then start to put myself back together afterwards.

Trinity saw that I was out of the hospital room and done talking to the nurse so she walked up to me and gave me a soft hug as to not hurt me. "I really need to deal with some unfinished business." Trinity said as she shifted on her feet, I could tell she wanted to stay here but she wanted to go finish whatever she has too first.

"Okay, thanks by the way." I said honestly towards Trinity who nodded.

"No problem, have fun with those boys. I'll see you around." Trinity said as she blew me a kiss with her hand and exited the hospital on a mission to finish what she didn't before she went off to prison.

With Trinity gone I turned towards Jaxton and Damien who were now just standing and staring at me waiting for me to say something. I could see a little bit of pride in Damien but Jaxton had just pure shock on his face. "So you guys ready to get back to work?" I said determined as I walked outside into the daylight. It's been a while since real sun rays hit my face, it was comforting.

Damien came running out quickly after me while Jaxton stayed back a little bit. Catching up with me, Damien grabbed my uninjured arm and moved me so we were face to face. He then put both of hands on my shoulders and looked me directly in the eyes, I could tell he was being serious. "You can't head back to the office this quickly." He ordered as I just stared back at him, I was going to help the team whether he liked it or not.

He is the boss so technically Damien can tell me what to do but I wasn't going to have it this time. I'm getting tired of constantly being told what to do, like the last time he wouldn't let me leave the police station without taking depression medicine first. "I am perfectly fine to work on the case." I responded, Damien was being too overprotective right now. I'll be fine because there is nothing left of me to break.

"At least take a day off." Damien said trying to reason with me, but there was no convincing me this time.

"The last time you told me to take some time off I got kidnapped in my own bed. I don't think that's the safest option right now, especially since I know who the guy is." I said making Damien shut up, he was at a loss for words.

"For crying out loud Arizona, you couldn't have told someone sooner?" He almost yells at me and I flinch away in fear, the yelling reminded of the man who tortured me in the room. I was waiting for a slap on the face but I instead heard a voice from beside me.

"Come on man, that's not how you should be talking to her." Jaxton spoke as he pushed Damien off of me. "You need to listen to her because she knows more than you."

Hearing Jaxton defend me I smiled in relief, he cared for me and wasn't going to let anyone hurt me. Damien caught sight of my smile and stayed silent, not even replying to what Jaxton said, he just kept walking to his car.
