Chapter 25- Rose

When I made it to school, I found Matthew leaning against his Jeep. As I walked up to him, he smiled at me as I smiled back.

"Good morning my sunshine", Matthew said as he took me into his arms.
"Good morning", I said back. He leaned in to kiss me and we kissed until he pulled away. He reached over into his window and pulled out a bouquet of red roses and handed them to me.
"Happy one year anniversary, baby!", Matthew said to me.
"They're beautiful, Matthew! Thank you", I said as I pulled his face to mine and pressed his forehead to mine.
"And, I've got plans for the both of us later on tonight", he said. I but my lip as his lips found mine. We were making out until we heard Madison say, "Can I ever walk up to you without seeing you tongue my twin?"
"No. I guess not, Maddie", I said. We all stated laughing.
"Hey guys", Dominic said as he walked up to us with his cousin Ashley.
"Where's Riley and Jacob?", Ashley asked. We all shrugged our shoulders in mild panic. We all were hoping that Freddy didn't get them. Not long after we answered, Jacob and Riley were pulling up in Jacob's Camero. They had walked up to us hand-in-hand. They looked tired, but looked cute together. Jacob had a super sad and miserable look in his eyes, even though he had a smile on his face. Dominic was the next to notice that something was wrong with Jacob.

"Hey, Jake. What's wrong?", Dominic asked.
"Um.... Yvonne and my mom are dead", Jacob said. "I found Yvonne dead when I woke up and saw my mom die in our dream", he added.
"I'm so sorry Jake", I said.
"I'm sorry, too. I could have stopped Freddy from killing my mom, but I didn't", Jacob said. Dominic walked up to Jacob to give him a hug. The rest of us formed into a group hug around Jacob as he sobbed until we had to go to homeroom.

During my study hall, I logged onto MySpace to check my messages and found me added into a group chat Riley had started.

Riley: I know we're all concerned about Jacob, but we all gotta figure something out.
Dominic: Where is Jacob gonna stay?
Jacob: Don't worry, Dom. I'm staying with Riley and her parents.
Matthew: That's a relief.
Rose: Yeah. Do the cops know who did it?
Jacob: The cops are investigating, but we all know Freddy killed them both.
Ashley: What should we do?
Madison: I know! Let's gather up and have a small sleepover. We would just have to figure out where we're gonna go.
Matthew: Not our house, Maddie. Our parents won't let us have a sleepover at home, but they'll let us go somewhere else.
Riley: My parents are going on business trips. We can all stay at my place. How's that sound?
Jacob: I'm cool with that :)
Madison: Count me in!
Matthew: As long as I still get to cook for Rose, I'm in, too.
Rose: We all know why I'm gonna show up....
Dominic: Of course we do. I'll see you guys later.
Ashley: I'll be there around 7-ish.
Jacob: Thanks guys! This really means a lot to me.
Madison: No problem at all, dude!
Matthew: We'll always be here for you.
*Madison has left the group chat*
Jacob: Thanks Matthew!
Matthew: No problem! :) Bye guys!
* Matthew has left the group chat*
Rose: I gotta go study. See you guys later!

Dominic: I guess it's just us huh?
Ashley: No. I gotta go myself. Ttyl!

Riley: I guess it's just us two.
Jacob: I guess so.
Riley: So, are you glad that we're throwing this sleepover?
Jacob: Yeah. I'm glad I have friends like them, but glad I have a girlfriend like you. <3
Riley: Aaww!! :) Thank you Jacob!! <3
Jacob: I love you <3 <3 <3 <3
Riley: I love you too <3 <3 <3 <3

"Hi, mom! Hi, dad!", I said as I walked in from school.
"Hey, sweetie! How was school?", my mom asked.
"It was perfect", I replied.
"I see Matthew got you some roses. Want me to put them in a case for you?", my dad asked.
"Sure. He got them for me because we have been together for a year today", I said.
"Oh, that's nice. Are you two going to dinner?", he asked.
"Um. No. But I was hoping that I could go to a sleepover. Matthew, Jacob, Riley, Dominic, Ashley, and Madison are gonna be there. Can I please go?", I asked.
"Sure. It also has to be okay with your dad", mom said. I then looked at my dad with pleading eyes.
"Go pack you some stuff and go have some fun", dad said.
"Thanks mom and dad!", I yelled as I ran up to my room to pack some stuff. I went back downstairs and I stopped to say bye.
"See you tomorrow afternoon", my mom called after me. I shut the door behind me and walked over to Riley's house.

As I was walking, I pulled out my phone and threw everyone a text.
