Chapter 37- Riley

I wasn't exactly ready for this plan to start, but I was part of it either way.

"Alright Jacob. You'll have exactly 10 minutes to pull Freddy out while Dominic and I put the finishing touches on the boobie trap. Once you pull him out, you and Riley are to lure him into the basement. Understand?", Officer Jones said.

"Understood", Jacob and I said in unison.

Officer Jones finally went down into the basement to continue helping Dominic. I set my phone's timer for ten minutes like the officer instructed. Before I started the timer, I kissed Jacob passionately, just in case if he didn't make it after this. "Please be careful", I said. "Don't worry. I'll be perfectly fine", Jacob said. I then gave Jacob the chamomile tea and he laid himself down on the couch.

"I love you, Jacob", I said.

"I love you too", he said.

We kissed each other again and Jacob closed his eyes while I started the timer. At that moment, I wasn't exactly sure what was going to happen from there. All I could do was watch over him and wait for the ten minutes to count down.
