The suspect then proceeded to step out of the car, using his left leg as support. He had dark black hair, brushed to the right and was wearing dark shades. He also had a white shirt on covered with a black coat. He wore black jeans and a pair of well-polished black boots. He looked nothing like a racer so Salem concluded that his former assumption was true.
"I said hands above your head!" Salem repeated.
He could feel the adrenaline rushing through his system. This was the first time he was arresting a high level suspect.
"Looks like you got me." The man said. His voice was very calm and suited his physical appearance.
"Huh?" Salem paused. "You have five seconds to raise your hands! Five!
"You're pathetic."
"Huh, are you mocki-...." Salem shook his head "Hands up, four!"
"But I have to give it to you, you're the first one to see me in this form."
"What's he talking about?" Salem whispered to himself. "Three! I will open fire!"
The man slipped both his hands into his jean's front pockets and it sounded like a clicking sound came from his right pocket.
"Stop right there! What're you taking out!?" Salem exclaimed.
"Don't worry, I won't kill you. Though I could if I wished." The man's voice was so calm, as if he'd been in this situation more than a thousand times. So calm that it was creepy.
Salem aimed next to the suspect's arm and pulled the trigger, firing a warning shot.
The suspect nodded, almost as if he was appreciating the accuracy of the shot.
"Not too shabby."
"One!" Salem aimed for the suspect's right knee and pulled the trigger.
The sound of metal piercing through skin and bone was heard as blood spurted into the air. The man's head dropped and his right knee fell to the ground, bringing his body down with it, but he didn't fall flat on the pavement. Salem lowered his gun slightly and took a few steps back, his eyes opening wide as he noticed it.
The man hadn't let out any signs of agony.
"What!?" Salem remarked.
The man raised his head and his gaze met Salem's. He then flicked some hair out of the way of his eyes and simpered. The man then stood back up from his position, eyes fixed on Salem.
"Impossible!" Salem declared in a state of disbelief.
"You see..." His tone hadn't changed. "I work for The Agency. And you're not getting a word out of me."
