She'll Be Safe

Chapter 1: Strange Meetings

A girl ran through a forest running as far away as much as she can from the men that were chasing her, she didn't know where she would go but she knew she just had to get away, as she continued to run she heard their voices behind her, she grew more panic and tripped over a root. As she was getting up she felt hand on her wrist and they were pulled back behind her making her stand on her knees and another person tugged at her hair to make her look at someone, a male with black hair, brown eyes, and olive like skin slowly walked up to her with a pocket knife in his hands and he smiled at the girl evilly as he said, "We finally caught her boys." they two men that held her laughed as the girl looked at him in fear and said, "Why can't you leave me alone, what did I ever do to you!" the males just laughed as the head guy held the knife near her throat and said, "Cause you're nothing more than just a waste of space, so do us all a favor and die." as he was about to cut her throat when he heard there was howling but not just one howl there was several, then all of a sudden they were surrounded by a pack of wolves.

The men got nervous as they looked at the wolves warily as the girl stared at the wolf's transfixed by their appearance they were all gray with brown eyes but one stood out from all of them, it was black with bright icy blue eyes. The men let go of the girl, she continued to look at the wolfs but then the man that held the knife stabbed her in the leg and the girl screamed and cried as she grabbed her thigh in pain, the man laughed and said, "Now that you're wounded and weak they will kill you for us." he laughed and so did the other man as they saw a gap and ran for it, half of the pack going after them while the other half watched the girl.

As they girl continued to cry one of the wolves slowly walked up to the girl and sniffed her wound, another then came to the girl and laid down next to the girl. The other wolves soon joined and a few of them started to lick up the blood somewhat cleaning it, then there was howling in the distance and the wolves started to howl, soon after the other wolves came the black wolf being the at the front, it looked at her and she sniffled still holding onto her leg as some blood continued to come out.

The black wolf walked up to her and licked her tears away nudging her to get up, slowly the little girl stood up limping, as the little girl followed the pack of wolves she tripped on a root and fell as she braced for impact one of the gray wolves cushioned her fall, as the little girl looked at the wolf she smiled thankfully, she then sat comfortably on the wolf and the wolf ran to catch up with the others and the girl held onto it to not fall off. The wolf then stopped at a waterfall, the girl started in amazement then shut her eyes as they went through the waterfall into a cave that was behind it.

As she wiped the water out of her eyes she got off the wolf as it shook the water off its fur it then started to walk down the cave she slowly followed the wolf and came to the end of the cave and saw the black wolf with someone, the girl was about to say something when the person said, "You must have had a long journey." the girl didn't say anything only watched the man, the man turned to face her.

The girl looked at the figure in front of her, he had the head of a wolf and icy blue eyes just like the black wolf, the girl stayed silent holding onto the wolf for support, the man notice this and saw the blood coming out of her leg. He hurried to the girl and stood in front of her and said, "Will you let me take a look at your leg?" the girl slowly nodded and the strange man picked her up bridal style and carried her to where he once was and laid her on a bed of dry grass and dropped some clear blue water that seems to glow.

As the water hit her wound the bleeding seemed to stop and it started to heal, the girl stared in amazement and looked at the man and said, "How did you do that?!" the man chuckled and said, "It's called healing water, it's from my home that very few could make, I can show you how if you want." the girl nodded and said, "Yes please, my name is Akemi Akuma. What's yours?" the man looked Akemi in the eye and said, "Your name means 'love and affection child demon' did you know." Akemi shocked her head and said, "I didn't." the man smiled and looked back at her leg and cleaned up the last of blood on her leg off. "My name is Riga Honzo." Akemi tilted her head and said, "How old are you, Riga?" Riga petted the black wolf.

He sighed and said, "Can I ask you something Akemi?" she nodded and stood up testing out her leg, "You can, it's not like I have anyone to tell it to." Riga smiled and said, "Would you believe me if I said I was from a different world?" she smiled and said, "I would, even if it was a lie." Riga was surprised by this answer and smiled nodding.

The man picked up a bag and asked, "Can I ask you another question?" Akemi nodded and petted the wolf that helped her get to the cave, "Of course." the man pulled something out of the bag and said, "Would you believe me if I told you that you were the long-lost princess of the other world?" Akemi looked at him surprised and said, "How can I be a princess there is nothing special about me or any sign that I'm royalty." Riga smiled and said, "You are special, it's because your special that you were sent to this world for your protection it was just a matter of time till you came here." Riga then held out a gold charm with a bright blue gem in the middle.

Akemi looked at it and gently hovered her fingers over it, Riga smiled as Akemi fingers seem to elegantly trace it. Riga then gently placed it in her hands, at that moment a blue light surround Akemi, Riga stepped back as Akemi held the charm close to her chest with her eyes closed.

As the light died down Riga and the wolfs surrounding her bowed, Akemi slowly opened her eyes and noticed her clothes changed instead of ripped and ragged clothes she was in a brown like a skirt with some fur around the edges and a brown top that showed her stomach and a strap that went over one shoulder. What Akemi didn't notice was that she now had animal ears and a tail and that her hair had changed it now had some blue that was the same color of the gem, Riga smiled and said, "I believe you're ready to go back to our world but first I need to teach you how to make the healing water."

Riga then started walking down the cave with Akemi following him she then notices her tail and was surprised and screamed, Riga turned to her worried that something went wrong only to chuckle as Akemi started asking why she had a tail. Riga then explained that it was normal to have a tail and ears but hair changing was something that only happened to the royal family. After Akemi calmed down Riga continued to a body of water that looked anything but healthy or pure looking, Riga then gathered some of the water in his hand and right in front of Akemi eyes the water looked pure and healthy and seemed to glow slightly, Riga then told Akemi to relax and clear her head of all thoughts.
