Akemi's First Balls and Doragon Feelings

They then made their way back to the palace and announced everyone to come to the palace, every gathered as Doragon stood in front of them all then back at Akemi and said, "Why didn't you kill me?" she looked at him and smiled looking back at her people, "Because Len was there and I didn't want him to see me kill, I wanted him to see that no matter how much wrong people do there is still good in them and to always give people a second chance." Doragon's eyes teared up a bit, he cleared his throat and said, "My people I'm pleased to say that the long lost princess has returned and that I will give her what is rightfully her's." he then took off the crown and placed it on Akemi, the crown glowed and transformed into the most beautiful crown anyone has ever seen.

Doragon smiled and said, "I would like to make a ball in her honor and you're all invited." the whole kingdom cheered as Akemi smiled at Doragon and said, "Thank you." he smiled back and bowed, "I now serve you, my princess, I'm sorry for how I acted earlier...I didn't want to lose what little respect people had for me." Akemi smiled and nodded, "I understand, I have never received this much love and attention, in the other world people tried to kill me only because I had no family and was alone." Doragon was surprised by this and looked at the maids nearby and said, "Can you please dress the princess." they nodded and started to drag Akemi away, she looked at Doragon confused as he smiled at her and said, "I'll make sure you forget about your life in that other world." Akemi giggled and smiled nodding and looked forward as the maids dragged her out of the room.

That night the ballroom was in full swing as people laughed and talked, Aoi looked around the room and smiled, Ranmaru smiled too and said, "I haven't seen the ballroom in this atmosphere since we found out the queen was having a baby." Aoi nodded and smiled more as Len played with a few children.

Doragon walked up to the two and cleared his throat, Ranmaru and Aoi looked at him surprised as he was dressed nicely and had a banquet of roses and lilies." he blushed lightly and said, "Is there something wrong." Aoi gave a knowing look and said, "So let me get this straight, you tried to kill her and now you're trying to court her." Ranmaru covered his mouth to muffle a chuckle as Doragon blushed harder and said, "I'm trying to get a new start." Aoi then walked around him checking him and said, "It's a good start but you're going to have to start as a friend before you try going any farther than that." Doragon was about to yell at him, till they heard a bunch of gasps, they looked at the people confused and on high alert.

They saw them looking up the stairs and looked as well only to have their eyes widen as Akemi slowly made her way downstairs in a beautiful victorian age royal blue dress, the inner part of her dress a pure white color with ruffles, the dress was off the shoulders and framed her body while showing off all the right curves. Ranmaru and Doragon blushed while Aoi rolled his eyes and made his way to Akemi as she nervously played with the bow that started the split of the dress showing the white inner part of the dress.

Aoi smiled and said, "You look just as beautiful as your mother did in that dress." Akemi smiled and took a deep breath, "Thankyou Aoi I appreciate it." he then nodded towards her people and said, "Shall we." she smiled more and nodded, "We shall." she then walked down the stairs with Aoi by her side, Doragon shook his head to get out of his trance and walked over to Akemi and held the flowers to her and said, "For you princess." Akemi smiled and carefully took the flowers and smelled them.

A maid came up to her and held her hands out for the flowers, Akemi gently placed them in her hands and said, "Can you be a dear and put these in a vase for me." the maid nodded and replied, "Of course princess." and left with the flowers.

Doragon took a breath and swallowed his saliva and held his hand out asking, "Princess Akemi Akuma would you do me the honors and let me have this first dance." he bowed and waited for her answer. Akemi placed her hand in his and bowed saying, "I would be honored to let you have this first dance my friend." he smiled and took Akemi to the middle of the ballroom and nodded for the musicians to play their music.

They played a slow song and soon enough people started to join in, Akemi smiled at the people then looked back at Doragon and said, "I think everything going to turn out fine after all of these events. Doragon nodded and bowed as the song end and said, "I promise to protect and serve you till I fixed my mistakes. Akemi smiled as she stood in front of him and said, "You know you don't have to bow Doragon, I forgave you." Doragon smiled and stood to look at Akemi, Akemi felt a tug on her dress and looked down to see Len, she smiled and got down to his height and said, "Do you need something Len?" Len grabbed her hand and said, "I want you to meet my friend Sakura, the one I told you about." Akemi nodded then looked at Doragon and said, "Please excuse me." she then followed Len to meet his friend.

As Akemi walked away Doragon watched her and smiled, Aoi witnessed the scene and looked out the window and smiled thinking, 'Things have only begun and they're only going to get better from here on out.' he then looked back at Akemi to see her playing with the children and Doragon watching from a distance with caring eyes.
