Seikei grunted and looked up as he heard an animal growl at him only to grow nervous when he saw it was the kings head guard wolf, he gulped and said, "Captain Aoi." the large wolf that fur was pure white, eyes as blue as the sky, and a crescent moon on its forehead with markings that pointed to the north, east, south, west, around his neck was a necklace that held a single hand size tooth.
The wolf got off of Seikei and demanded, "What do you think you're doing Seikei we are only here to get rid of the rogues not hurt the innocent." Seikei glared at the wolf and said, "I would not have hurt the boy if he did not get in the way." as the wolf and the man with husky dog ears argued Akemi held the little boy in her arms and carefully looked at his wound. She flinched at the sight of it and stood with him in her arms she looked at the men with wolf ears and asked in a worried tone, "Is there a river or a small pond nearby." the leader nodded and said, "The pond is about 8 miles to the northwest of here." Akemi nodded and kissed the boy's forehead and said in a soft voice, "You're going to be fine I'll make sure of it." she then ran past the arguing wolf and part husky man.
They both stopped and was about to chase after her when the part wolfmen blocked their path, the others verses Seikei while the leader versus Aoi, as they fought Aoi and the wolf leader started to have a conversation, the wolf dodged as the leader tried to hit him with his sword, "I see you still fight as you did back then...Ranmaru." the leader smirked and replied dodging a bite Aoi was aiming at his leg, "You as well, tell me how is that fake king doing." Aoi growled as Ranmaru cut his cheek slightly turning his white fur red and pink, "You will respect the king." Ranmaru glared at the wolf as Aoi scratched his arm blood flowing out of the wound, "That pig of a dragon is not fit to be king, nor is he fit to sit on that throne." Aoi knocked the sword out of Ranmaru hand with his tail and pinned him to the floor and said, "You will respect him whether you like it or not, wake up Ranmaru the lost princess...she will never come back...I'm just as upset and sad as you but you must open your eyes...my brother...she'll be safe...he promised." Ranmaru looked at Aoi surprised as Aoi lowered his ears and held in his whimpers, before Ranmaru could say anything Aoi next words surprised him, "I wanted to see my little river grow." Ranmaru gave a small smile and sighed and said, "If you want to catch the girl you better get started, I delayed you long enough." Aoi nodded and took off after Akemi shouting to Seikei, "Seikei you tie them up then follow with them tagging along, and make sure they don't die, I want to question them." Seikei groaned and said, "Yes Captain."
As Akemi reached the lake she let out a breath of relief and put the boy in the water, the boy opened his eyes slowly and looked at Akemi.
Akemi gave him a small smile and said, "It's okay your going to be okay I promise." the boy nodded and said, "Your very kind ms, I wonder if the lost princess would be as kind as you." Akemi looked around not seeing or hearing anything she asked the boy, "Can you keep a secret?" the boy nodded and said, "Of course ms you shielded me, I'm in your debt." Akemi smiled and removed her hood showing her face to the boy and her ears, the boy stared at her wide you and teared up slight and said, "You're the lost princess, you finally came back to us after so long." Akemi smiled at him sadly and said, "I'm so sorry but until recently I didn't know I was a princess a lost one at that but now that I know, I'll do what I can to help and protect." the boy smiled and winced grabbing his wound.
Akemi carefully removed his hand from his wound and smiled, "Relax now I'll heal you okay." the boy nodded and relaxed, Akemi smiled and closed her eyes taking a calm and deep breath and cleared her mind, she slowly put her hands in the water and just like before as soon as her hands made contact with the water seemed to glow and look purer than before.
The little boy looked at the water amazed then at his wound, he was amazed as it closed right before his eyes unknown to them Aoi watched amazed and shocked, after so many years his goddaughter was back. He slowly walked up to her as she helped the boy out of the water, he hugged her and thanked her over and over, Aoi smiled having a memory to when her mother did the same to a boy many years ago.
