Chapter 4: The Attempted Apology

I stayed in the shower for a good half hour letting the warm water rain over me as i stood bathing in my thoughts. I turned the shower off and stepped onto the bath mat, clearing the steamed up mirror with my hand I wiped away the smudges of mascara under my eyes and finger combed my hair before grabbing a... Where are the towels!? Crap! The only towel in here is a hand towel, grabbing the hand towel off the side of the sink i began to pat myself dry. I called out to Alpha to see if he could get me a towel but i got no reply, i called him about 3 times and still no reply!

"We need to run into the bedroom and grab our clothes" Tala said her voice laced with worry in her voice.

I would like to argue and say no but sadly she's right. I picked up the hand towel and used it to cover my hoo-ha, opening the bathroom door a crack to see if there was any sign of Alpha. The cost was clear! I opened the door and used one arm to cover my breasts and the other to hold the towel in place, i ran into the room and awkwardly tried to pick up my underwear while holding the towel in place. I removed the arm covering my breasts and bent over to pick up my clothes, hearing a creak I looked up to see an amused Alpha... Brilliant!

I quickly grabbed my clothes and was about to run into the bathroom but before I could move the Alpha had picked me up in his arms and caged me on the bed, his eyes were black and full of lust. I tried to cover myself with the duvet but everytime i tried Alpha would tear them off me, like literally rip them off my body, the floor was covered in torn bits of fabric.

"Uumm Alpha. Can i get dressed i need to go.." I tried to slide out of his grip which just made him tense harder. I blushed as i felt his hardness dig into my leg, i tried to wriggle away. I tried to speak again but was stopped when his lips came crashing on mine! I was shocked at first but soon got over it when i felt his tongue slide into my mouth, all my questions and worries flew away when i started to kiss him back. Alpha flipped me over so i was straddling him making sure not to break the kiss. His wandering hands started to stroke my inner thigh, a quiet moan escaped my lips as I felt Alpha smile against my lips. Oh two can play at that game.. again!

I slowly slid down his body and ripped open his shirt revealing his... h-his six pack! i trailed my tongue down his abs and put my fingers in the loops of his jeans to bringing him closer to me. Alpha moaned as i slowly crawled up his body making sure I rubbed against everything until our lips met again. Closing my eyes in pleasure I felt his hands grab back of my thighs bringing us impossibly closer.

We pulled away for air but leaning forward so our foreheads stayed touching, I opened my eyes and stared into his piercing blue ones getting lost in his mesmerising blue orbs. I sat up continuing to straddle him and analyse my surroundings, I saw a clock in the corner of the room. SHIT is that the time!? 12:30, they're gonna kill me! I tried to get off Alphas lap but being a complete horndog he refused!

"Please" I begged whispering in his ear feeling him shiver with what i'm assuming is pleasure makes me happy to know that I can make him feel that way.

Alpha shook his head happily and wraped his arms around my waist to stop me from moving, oh are we going through this again? I leant down to his ear and began to nibble on his ear lope, I heard another moan escape his lips as his tight grip started to unfasten but not enough to escape. I carried on nibbling his ear lobe as i let my hand slide down to his v-line and started to lightly drag my finger along it sending tingles up my arm and through his chest. Finally his grip completely loosened. Time to make my grand escape!

I sat back up and threw whatever was left of the covers over his head as I made a dash to my clothes, i picked them up and ran to the bathroom where i left a very stunned Alpha on the bed. I put my underwear back on, slid on my dress, checked my p-phone...shit! 37 missed calls, 54 messages and 18 voice mails. Guess who they're from? My brothers.

I opened the door a little and poked my head out to check if Alpha had gone, yep coast clear lets go! I tiptoed through the room with my heels in one hand and clutch bag in the other, i opened the bedroom door making sure it didnt creak and stepped outside. Fuck this house is huge! I creeped around the halls and down the stairs making my way to the front door I tried to open it but to my surprise it was locked!

"Where do you think you're going!?" A very pissed off Alpha boomed from behind me.

"Uuumm home!" I said harshly. Not meaning it to come out so cold i looked at Alpha to see hurt flash through his eyes. Instantly feeling guilty I broke eye contact.

"This is your home now, as your mate I..." Alpha spoke angrily all traces of hurt now gone.

"No no no! YOU are not my mate!" I replied bitterly stepping away from him.

"YES I AM! Do you feel tingles every time we kiss? Do you crave my touch? I know you do because i can feel them too Ember, i can feel them too!" He shouted angrily venom coating his words making me feel even more guilty for denying the bond.

"I c-can't deal with this now i'm sorry" I mumbled out with tears streaming down my face, why do i feel so guilty? Why do I crave his soft plump lips against mine? Why do i want to apoligize?

I yanked the front door keys out of his hand ignoring the sadness and hurt in his eyes, unlocked the door and ran to my Range Rover. Slamming the door i looked back at where Alpha was standing staring at me drive away.

*15 mins later*

I looked in the mirror and stared at my reflection, red puffy eyes, mascara stained cheeks and blood shot eyes. I wiped away the mascara to try and make it look like i have a really bad hangover which I also had... Why the fuck did I drive. Stepping out of the car I realised I left my cashmere shawl at Alphas, fuck i have to return this today. Anyway I'm sure he will return it later, but for now it's time to face the music!

I unlocked the frontdoor and dumped my heels on the floor before trying to creep up the stairs. *CREAK* Shit, Shit, Shit! I ran up the stairs, knowing they've heard me. Darting towards the bathroom where i can hide I saw it was blocked by a very and i mean VERY pissed off looking Jacob. I turned back around to run back down the stairs but oh brilliant it was being blocked by Max so i tried to run up the stairs but EVEN BETTER its being blocked by Tyler. Jacob and Max grabbed hold of my arms and drag me to the sofa... This is going to take some explaining!
