I was woken by the black haired Avox girl. She thrusts some clothes at me and motions for me to follow her.

I dress while she waits by the door. The clothes are quite tightly fitting and cut under my arms. I tug uncomfortably at them as I follow the Avox girl out of the door.

Cato, Emille, Bailey and Amelia are seated at the long table. My eyes move straight to Catos.

"District 12 tributes have arrived so you'll be doing the tribute parade today." Amelia tells me.

"We get to meet our stylists." Cato grins.

"Yes, yes, but first we need to get you two to the prep centre!" Emille sighs.

"Well these clothes are really uncomfortable so can we go?" I say impatient.

"Eat something first, and I have something to give you both." Emille smiles.

I sit opposite Cato and pour myself some hot chocolate. "I'm not very hungry." I tell her.

Cato picks up a loaf of bread from the centre of the table and some white meat and places them on my plate. I sigh and take a bite.

"You need to eat, because we won't eat for a while. It's our first real show to the people of the Captiol, and they won't offer us sponsors if you're busy eating." He says sympathetically.

I can't help but feel like everyone was telling me off for no reason and I scowl down at my plate.

"Hey, Midge, I didn't mean it like that." He says, putting his hand across the table. I look at his hand, then up at his face, which was filled with concern and something else; something hidden in his eyes.

"Fine." I sigh, then look up at Emille as I put some cupcakes on my plate.

She coughs lightly and her eyes flicker between the two of us. "I have something for you both." She says, as if it is supposed to mean a lot. "Each tribute is given a token from their district. None of your family members gave you anything because I took them off your families because I wanted to give them to you myself." I frowned. I'd rather Skye had given me my token than Emille.

"So what's my token?" Cato asks.

"Well your tokens are similar. Clove, yours is a necklace of sorts, and Cato yours will fit around your wrist." She reaches into the depths of her pockets and puts two chains on the table. Bailey passes me the longer of the two chains.

I examine the necklace. It is an orange colour with flecks of grey and rectangular in shape. Blue squares were woven into the dull silver chain.

"I love it." I say. I look over at Cato, who had put his around his wrist. His was the same as mine, only was woven into a band that fitted snugly around his wrist.

"Have you finished eating, Clove?" Amelia asks. I look down at my plate, which still has half of my food on it.

I nod and Emille claps. "Good!" she squeals." It's time to meet your stylists!"

I clench my eyes shut tight as a woman called Sanita ripped the last of the hair off my leg.
