"I mean, he told me I still was his one and only true love. Hah, sure", Cordelia snorted sarcastically as she walked beside Misty down the Christmas decorated hallway of the academy.

"What a douchebag. You deserve someone better than him, miss Cordelia." Misty rolled her eyes at the thought of Hank being married to the incredible blonde beside her. They had reached the doorway into the dining room as Cordelia stopped abruptly, facing the swamp witch. Misty instinctively mirrored her and they ended up standing in the middle of the threshold, staring at each other.

"I do, don't I?" Cordelia said thoughtfully, and then in a more serious tone, "You know, I'm so glad you joined this coven, Misty. I really am. You brought a kind of light-" Cordelia was interrupted by the sound of willful coughing coming from the dinner table. The two women looked startled to where the coughing had come from and discovered Madison. She was sitting at the table with the other girls, who were all staring expectantly at them. Both Misty and Cordelia looked confused at the girls. A long uncomfortable silence ensued. Madison looked at Cordelia with a smirk plastered on her face.

"What is it, Madison?" Cordelia asked uneasily, shifting under the actress's gaze. Misty was just as puzzled, standing beside the older woman. Madison didn't say anything, however. Instead, she just lifted her gaze to the doorframe above their heads. Both women followed Madison's gaze, and discovered the little green plant, full with four red berries, placed overhead. Cordelia immediately looked down, a red blush spreading quickly across her face. Misty looked puzzled still, not understanding Delia's reaction.

"What is it?" Came Misty's voice quizzically. Cordelia had suddenly discovered something really fascinating at the tip of her heels, and didn't answer her. Finally Madison spoke up in her not-so-innocent voice.

"It's a mistletoe, dumbass." Misty still didn't seem to understand, so Madison sighed audibly before continuing. "It's an old tradition. If two people stand under a mistletoe, they have to make out", said Madison with a little smirk, changing the traditional 'kiss' to 'make out' just to fluster the older blonde. The other girls looked skeptically at Madison, but Misty seemed to accept it. Cordelia shot Madison a deathly glare before turning to Misty.

"You don't have to if it makes you uncomfortable, Misty. It's just a stupid tradition-" Cordelia was interrupted for the second time in less than five minutes, but this time the interruption was welcome. Misty softly cupped Cordelia's face, and pressed her warm lips against those of the headmistress. Cordelia let out a small breath before returning the kiss tentatively. Misty seemed to take the make out-thing seriously, because one of her hands started pressing against the small of Cordelia's back as she deepened the kiss. Both of them completely forgot that they had an audience. Instead they gave in to what they'd wanted to do from the moment they'd met. The kiss was passionate, but not vulgar. It was beautiful.
At the table, the girls seemed unsure of what to do. They didn't know how to react. It was after all, their idea to plant a mistletoe in the doorway just before the two blondes arrived. However, they hadn't expected it to become a make out session.

"Gee, I knew they liked each other, but I didn't know they were ready to fuck each other in public yet", Madison remarked loudly with a condescending laugh. That seemed to get to the blondes in the doorway, because they quickly pulled away from each other. Cordelia blushed again. Her thoughts were racing inside her head. She loved Misty. Could it really be that her feelings were reciprocated? But no, it was just a tradition. It didn't guarantee that the people under the mistletoe loved each other. But then again, Misty had kissed her like it depended upon her life. However, that may have been because Madison said... stop thinking, Cordelia.
Misty seemed to become quite uncomfortable as well. What if Cordelia wasn't comfortable with what they just did? 'Course she wasn't, she's blushin' like crazy. There was no way in hell Cordelia liked her the way Misty liked Cordelia. She even loved Cordelia. But she didn't deserve to be with a woman as magnificent as her. Stop dreamin', Misty. Both of them mentally slapped themselves.

"Jesus Christ, just say it out loud. I can't stand listening to your thoughts anymore! Why do people think so goddamned much?!" Nan rose up, pressing her hands over her ears, starting to walk out. Both of the women thought the same thing: Say what out loud? Nan stopped, rolling her eyes.

"That you love each other, honestly! Now, leave me alone." She turned again and continued her stride down the hallway. The two blondes looked tentatively to the other one. They locked gazes, and Cordelia bit her lip, preparing to say something.

"That's it, I'm out. Too much eye-sex. Sayonara, lezbos!" Madison pretended to be gagging as she pushed past the two in the doorway. The two other girls followed quietly after her, Queenie with a smirk on her face, not looking at either of the women. Once everyone's steps had quieted, Misty turned to Cordelia.

"Is it really true that ya love me, miss Cordelia?" Misty's eyes sparkled in excitement.

"I think we know each other well enough to drop the titles, Misty. And yes, I do love you", Cordelia confessed.
