Markus was feeling the music as he rock head and stamp feet he was trilling everyone that was in the room to the way they've enjoying it they even video him on their phone and tablet, for the time he was on the podium Marcia eyes never leave him, she was crying and didn't know it for the tears just came down, Wendy was next to her watching how emotional she was by Markus was on the second verse of the song Marcia was in more tears.
(Song) " when you were in trouble that cooked little smile melt my heart of stone I looked at you I've  turn a round and you almost grown sometimes you're a sleep  I whispered I love you in the moon light at your door as I walk away I hear you say daddy love you more,

Molly put comforting arms around her mom soon it was her arms and her brother's she smile down at them as she wipe tears, turning back to Markus up there singing his heart out she knew he had falling for that song the first time they heard it on radio but she had no idea he could sing it word for word and so well she knew he did a little signing when he's in a good mood more time in the shower and other time when they were alone,  but tonight most of all he capture her emotionally she felt joy, and gladness, and heart broken at the same time.

" Daddy love you Molly "Markus said after the song  ended he came down walk to where his daughter stand with his mother and brother Marcia turn away and walk to where Bob stand though Markus held his daughter kissing her fore head his eyes were on Marcia watching her Wendy was next to him but she could tell he wasn't their in mind and spirit she wonder what it was he was really doing with Markus for he have no love for her wondering why she was here in the first place his little family was his two children and their mother she saw it now even the love she has for him tonight display on her face when he was up there singing  her grandmother once said people part but what they felt for each other never does,
They sang Happy birthday it was time to cut the cake Markus went to get Randy  to cut the cake with Molly
"After three" he said counting "1,2,3.3.3.3.3." He ended and both Molly and Randy sliced in to the cake the room was once full of cheers and applause
" kiss her Randy " Markus teasing voice came over the speaker smiling when he met eyes with Marcia
"Dad" Molly shyly said holding her head down, everyone laugh seeing the look on her face
" He's just teasing Randy told her in a whisper and they both smile,    
"Are you shy mol?" Markus ask he was still grinning " now where did that come ?"Your dad is not shy he said walking over heading toward Marcia standing next to Bob  the mike still in his hand "your mom sure isn't shy, he continue widening  his grin, Marcia  watch as he got closer turning to look at Bob when he move away from her.
she felt as if her feet was flying in the wind and  the room was spinning around her, wondering why he was coming to her its not like they're not even talking,
"you  should see her  making you Molly"
everyone laugh Marcia just wanted to slap him her hand balled in a fist as she try not to say anything outrageous, knowing how well Markus Graham can struck a nerve, the best moment they have is during sex  and even then they fuss.
when he got closer he smile "right Marcie?" He said Putting his arm around her,
Markus knew he had to make the first move for she wouldn't, no matter what and he wasn't about to drive her into another mans arms not when Bob was waiting to trapped her no way he was letting him get the chance he knew she wouldn't start a brawl in front of everyone especially with her children and children friends around she let his arm rest on her shoulder " for us to have a beautiful little girl like Molly, we must have put our all in to it ,
"I though you said daddy that I wasn't planned for" molly said
" you weren't but your mother and I  put so much love in to it!  He emfasize , we do so  made a great team"
molly giggle at her fathers words and the way her mother was looking , it didn't take Marcia long to move out his embrace but soon he was holding her in the same position once again,
Wendy parents look at her she felt embarrass and before any of them could speak  she walk from them  to rest the gift she had bought for molly on the table with the others and was leaving with out letting Markus know she was in the drive way when she heard him say
" Don't get me wrong, our boy is a wonderful child we make such a great family and I love you all so much, glad she wasn't in there to see what happened after his last words  Markus place unexpected kiss on  Marcia  forehead one she welcome she put her arm around him as he lean side ways  hugging Molly and Jeremy Jessica took a picture of them saying to the others "its for keeps, this one  I'll put  on my phone for screensaver" Jessica  report with a smile this was a perfect party Markus was having more fun than he bargain for he didn't  realize his wife left Until her parents came to thank him for the invitation he ask of where Wendy was and her father told him she had gone home some how he was lighting up since the other day talking more to him and wasn't that grumpy like before and kept trying to tie him in to the house that he stay out late he and his daughter try to punish him the mother wasn't that bad though she have her way some times but was much easier to deal with he thank them for coming shook hand with Mr Welch hug Mrs Welch to say good bye what he didn't understand was why she left the party and with out telling him  he hope she wasn't feeling sick, he didn't want to know she was sick and gone off on her own and anything happen her parents might think he killed her, he was going to have to wait until he got home to find out he still has the party and one other present for his daughter that she'll get when she got home, Markus was surprising  her with a car  he had promise it to her but she have no idea she was getting it  for they haven't talked about it again since he had promise her,
It was near  midnight  when the party was completely over randy finally get Molly to himself pulling her in a corner he put his arms around her and something he haven't try since they became friends he wasn't sure if it was because Mr Graham mention it earlier but he lean in and gave her, her  very first kiss only to hear someone clear their throat when they turn it was Molly's dad both feeling embarrass now hang their head
" I've been looking for you two " he said Randy your parents are ready to leave "
" yes sir" randy said hurrying away
" my baby is growing up " Markus said hugging molly to his side as they walk back to where everyone were " she's even kissing on boys ,wait till I tell your mother "
"Dad!" Molly said
Markus laugh kissing her head
"Mr Graham! You rock that Tim McGraw so well I got goose bumps" Jessica told Markus running over to him when he came in with Molly
"She's right Mr Graham that was real good " Anna Kay said
"Thanks girls "
They both hug him
"Some party!" Harry said dancing over to them
"Its over now " Jessica said but he ignore her singing to his own tune
" you're my little girl" hitting some very high notes Markus laugh shaking his hand
" your trying "
" thank you sir " he said turning to Jessica " you see I told you I could do that they all laugh
"Jessica honey we should go" Mrs Parker came to get her she thank them for the party hugging Molly they said their goodnight and left, Todd and his parents came to bid their goodbye, " I hope you invite me to your seventeen birthday party " Todd said to molly she laugh and gave him a slight push " it was really some party my friend"
"Wouldn't be the same if you all weren't here to share with me" Molly said
"That's what friends do mol" Anna Kay said and she and Molly share a hug they were leaving now Molly walk to the door with Anna Kay whispering to her I will call you tomorrow" they share another hug and giggle as if they just share one special secret,
When it was time to leave Marcia thank Timothy with a hand shake and a hug  Markus did the same. Marcia was talking to Bob when Markus came out he watch as she hug him laughing as they share a conversation
" who's that ?" Molly ask her father when she came beside him getting her arm around his in a hugging way
"Cold?" He ask taking his jacket off to put around Molly's shoulder. She smile at him in a thankful way,
he was surprise his daughter didn't know (Bob) Lawrence Tate and  he date Marcia for sometimes " that man is some guy your mother dated "
" in high school " molly ask
"After I got married" Markus told her
" Daddy telly me about your marriage "
Molly had never question any of it but now  she would like to know Markus didn't mind telling her but he would rather talk about it some other time she understand
" molly came over to her mother and the man she was seeing  for the first time
"Hi" she greet the stranger "excuse me mom but are we ready to go ?"
"Yes honey let's go"
" bye " molly said waving to the man as she and her mother walk away,  Jeremy was leaning against the car when they came
" what took you guys so long ?" He ask
" OK honey we're going now, get in the car " Marcia told Jeremy " you want to drive honey? " she ask Molly who nod its been two weeks since her dad gave her his car to drive she has gotten better over the period of time the idea of driving her mother and for her to offer  was a  sweet jester
"Slowly" Marcia said as Molly put the car in reverse then smile at her rubbing her face
"Where's dad ?" Ask a rather sleepily Jeremy
"Dad is going to be right behind us he said" Molly told her brother. He lift his head to look out the back to see his dad car light up as molly drove off so did he
  Markus drove behind them as close as he could, He could tell now Molly was driving to the speed the car was going he drove up next to them roll his window down Molly roll her window down
"What time do you plan on getting home ?" He ask " you're moving like a snail " he laugh pulled back behind them and hunk his horn blinking his light
" Molly speed up a little soon they were home as they pull in the drive way Markus pull along side her " that's my girl " Markus said getting out his car Jeremy stumbled to him he pick him up like a little baby carrying him over his shoulder soon Jeremy lay curled up in bed his father kiss him goodnight then left the room Molly was yarning like crazy when Markus meet her on the stairs "  need me to carry you?" Markus tease
" I'm fine daddy " she hug him
"At lease let me get these for you he took her bags of gifts some weren't even yet open he rest the bags next to her as she throw herself down on the bed, she was no longer in school clothing for Randy convince her to let him buy her a nice dress using the money from her father it was more than enough to suit her and save for him self  Markus appreciate him he did good Markus kiss his daughter leaning over her for awhile  I felt like you just got married" he was expecting her to be sleeping.
"But daddy I still have another year in school and yet to finish this year,Molly said sleepily Markus smile
" Go to sleep hon comes tomorrow you still have a little celebration to do"
"What you talking about dad?"
"Love you" he kiss her then left the room.
Markus was on the stairs when he saw Marcia he pause she turn and saw him and as their eyes met the emotions that they felt send fire though their body both wishing to be in each other arms but after that fight the  other day,
Markus was sure he was still on the rebound he started walking again soon he reach the door
"Markus " Marcia called he turn around and they both stood there staring each other down neither of them able to say anything they just stand there let their eyes wonder in thoughts,
