Night came quickly, yet Yuri couldn't sleep. He sat up, and with a small sigh reached for his glasses. Unsure of what else to do, he pulled on the first pants he pulled from the suitcase, jeans.
He couldn't wander around in his underwear.Stepping out into the hallway, Yuri's eyes darted around. He couldn't be seen lest they think he was escaping. That was pointless, because he had nowhere safe to go. Stepping out into the hallway, his door shut with an almost silent click behind him.
He wandered mostly, not trying to find any particular room. The place was bigger than he'd expected it to be, and more confusing than he wanted. A noise caught his attention...no. Not a noise. Music. He followed the sound down the hallway, turning right. A door at the end of the hall was slightly ajar, light coming through in a soft glow. The sound of a piano, quiet enough not to disturb anyone yet loud enough to be heard, filled the air. It was a pretty tune, although he didn't recognise it.
Stepping forward, Yuri walked silently till he reached the door. Peaking through, he saw Victor sitting at a large, brown grand piano. That music was him?!
Honestly, it wasnt that surprising. Piano seemed his type. Yuri contemplated whether to go back to bed, but he hadn't traced the route so he'd most likely get lost. Pushing open the door he walked into the room, footfalls silent. Victor continued playing, whether he was aware of Yuri or not he didn't know.
He walked up, sitting on the stool next to Victor, facing away from the piano.
The playing stopped.
"It's a pretty tune isn't it?"
Yuri looked down, eyes closed and smiling.
"It is. I don't recognize it though"
"That's because I wrote it myself"
The pair fell quiet, not even the sound so of the night disturbing the silence.
"Can't sleep?"
Yuri curled in slightly. Victor responded immediately, turning sideways slightly.
"Don't panic"
Yuri's eyes widened as Victor grabbed his far shoulder and leg, pulling him onto his lap, head against Victors chest.
"Wha..."
"I said don't panic"
They sat there for a moment, Yuri registering what had happened and Victor finally understanding just how small Yuri was compared to him. He also smelt pretty nice considering what he'd been through.
Arms loosely around Yuri, he spoke again.
"Is there anything you'd like me to play?"
Yuri was torn. He had so many reasons not to trust this guy, and yet...
"Fur Elíse"
Victor started playing, and the sound filled the room. Normally Yuri couldn't sleep unless it was silent, insomnia and all, but he ended up passing out in Victors arms.Victor knew immediately when Yuri was asleep. His body relaxed, head leaning in. His face softened, eyes closed.
He seemed so innocent, Victor couldn't help but smile. He was his.
Finishing up the song, he looped his arms around Yuri so when he stood up he wouldn't drop him. Contemplating whether or not to return him to the guest room, Victor didn't turn down the hallway Yuri had come from.
Waking up in Victors bed was bound to put a funny look on his face.
