Yuri and Otabek wandered the halls. After lunch, Victor had instructed him to show Yuri around, mostly because Yurio couldn't be trusted.
Pointing out doors and halls, Otabek soon had Yuri memorising the whole building. It had a simple layout, a large hallway splitting off into rooms like the kitchen, which connected to the lounge room they'd been in earlier. He was making small comments, about nonsense mostly, so Yuri wasnt paying attention. Till they branched off into a familiar hallway.
"This hall doesn't have anything in it" Otabek explained, "Except down the end"
He gestured to the double doors that Yuri had peeked through last night.
"That room holds a grand piano, one only Boss plays. No-one else is allowed to touch it"
"I-It's special, huh?"
"Very. It's worth a lot, money wise and sentimental value.
It belonged to his father, Yakov"
Yuri looked down, slight shock and curiosity on his face as he absorbed this information.
"When did he...?"
"Oh, no!" Otabek laughed.
"Yakov isn't dead, he just gave up on the piano and gave it to Boss"
Yuri laughed nervously, but the fear dropped.
As they continued walking and talking, things quickly meltes between them. Otabek and Yuri got along great, so by the time they got back to the lounge they were both laughing."...So this guy swings at me, of course he doesn't stand a chance, but I let him cause I'm fair, ya know?
So he's coming at me, and he brings up his right arm, and that's when he's done..."
Otabek and Yuri walked into the lounge, Otabek going on about a drunken bar fight he'd been in.
Yurio rolled his eyes, clearly unhappy with the showing off, but Victor smiled. Not because of the story, but because Yuri was smiling."My little angel"
Yuri's eyes flicked over the room, hand rubbing the bandaid slightly.
Victor stood up, hands in his pant-pockets causally.
"Know the layout of this place yet?"
Yuri nodded.
Victor smirked slightly.God that smile
"Good, can't have you getting lost"
There was a hidden meaning to his words, hinting at the night Yuri had gotten lost and found himself in Victors bed.
They walked into the lounge, Yuri curling in slightly. Embarrassment at the memories of what he'd done coursed through him.
If his parents knew he'd been so lewd with a Mafia Boss they'd kill him, not that they liked him in the first place.
Yuri's face fell at the thought, which Victor noticed.
"Say Yuri,"
Brown eyes locked on his, pain and fear locked down, barely hidden from him.
"Y-Yeah?"
"Did Otabek show you the balconey?"
Otabek straightened up, slightly shocked.
"Oops, sorry!" he laughed nervously, rubbing his neck.
"Not an issue" Victors eyes closed.
"Mr Katsuki and I need to talk anyway"
Yuri swallowed nervously at the mention of his last name. The view was amazing. The building was on the edge of the Chicago Bay River, and the water was sparkling.
Yuri couldn't help but smile slightly.
"When it gets colder the river freezes over, and it's perfect for skating."
A warm hand settled on Yuri's lower back, and Victors eyes settled on his.
Steel blue gazing over Otabek had melted into a warm Sky blue that seemed to exist only for him.
Yuri looked down."This isn't real"
It couldn't be. No way the situation could have reversed so quickly. No way Victor could have gone from kidnapping him to actually caring about him.
No way.
"Victor"
"Yes Yuri?"
"What would happen if I were to leave?"Silence
"Leave? Yuri, you're funny"
You're never leaving me
