Time had passed. It had been a week since he'd seen the gang fight in the alley, and yet nothing had happened. Nobody had shown up to murder him, he hadn't recognised any of th emen in the street or been recognized. And he hadn't seen that blue-eyed man. The library hadn't asked about his missing books yet either, which was a relief.
Thermos in hand, Yuri sat at the table next to the science aisle that had become his new spot in the library. He was in a mindset, a good mood today and nothing would ruin that.
Halfway through the coffee and the book in his hands, he was lost. It was nonfiction, but that didn't matter to him. He had to study and this worked. A thud brought him to reality. Two familiar books sat on the edge of the the round table, a figure in a dark brown coat behind them. He looked up to stare into vivid blue eyes.
A voice smoother than velvet broke the shocked silence.
"You dropped these"Immediately Yuri stood up, backing away from the man. He'd expected them to find him, they had the details, but he hadn't expected them to ACTUALLY find him!!
Panic coursed through his system. What was he supposed to do? Run? Would that work? The slightly bewildered man in front of him spoke again.
"Are you alright?"
Yuri froze. This guy wasnt trying to attack him, kill him or anything! Straightening up slightly, Yuri hesitated. What would he say?
"You... Thank you, for the books"
He stammered out. Great, he thought to himself. Show the guy you're afraid, just what he wants.
The white haired man tilted his head slightly
"Are you sure you're alright, you're awfully pale"
"I'm fine" Yuri swallowed. "You just look like someone i know"
The stranger smiled.
"You mean you recognise me from the alley?"
Yuri froze, shock clear on his face. He didn't have a chance to speak or move before the man walked around the table, pushing him into the shelf behind him. Science Section 4.
"My name's Victor, and I'm not an idiot. Did you really think I'd kill a man in broad daylight?"
Yuri's instincts screamed shove him and run, but the guy was clearly stronger than him. Swallowing nervously, he spoke.
"Telling me your name is a stupid thing to do, what if i go to the police?"
His words sounded braver than he felt. Victor smirked in,a way that made Yuri's heart skip a beat when it shouldn't.
"You're not going to go to the police are you?"
For a moment there was silence, till realizeatiom hit him. Yuri's eyes widened. He wanted a response? Unsure of what else to do, Yuri nodded.
Victors lips curved slightly, and Yuri froze as he planted a kiss on his forehead.
What!!??
"Good boy. See you later"
Victor walked away without a second glance.Yuri put his hand on his forehead as he sat down at his table. What had happened? All he knew was that they knew where he was, who he was, and may or may not want him dead. He was screwed.
But then why kiss him on the forehead. To claim him?
