Angel's P.O.V.
Y'all don't understand how much I was dreading on going back to that house but I had to because I was out all day and I have to be home to get the kids because no way in hell I'm letting Axton get them.
I unlocked the door and stepped in. It was really quite and I find it weird, but then I realized that Austin and Ariana made 90 percent of the noise in the house. I closed the door behind me and noticed there was a damn hole in the wall behind the door. Axton came from where ever depth of hell he was raised in and just rolled his eyes at me. Oooh don't worry the feelings are mutual.
"Did you do this?" He looked at me and then looked into the living room.
"I don't know. Mason did I do this?" He said.
"Shut up." What the hell??? I turned around to see Mason body sunk into the couch
"Mason why are you home so early??"
"What do you mean it's 6:15. I get off at 5:30." Oh shiiiiit.
"Where were you and why aren't you answering your phone?"
"It died because it wasn't fully charged.
"Did yo-,"
"I got the kids they are asleep, but you wasn't going to tell me that you signed them up for day care?" Oooh thank God.
"I did tell you and your exact words was 'Go ahead it would be a perfect way for them to interact with other kids." I said and he looked over at me and shrugged his shoulders.
"So is anyone gonna tell me why and where this hole in the wall came from?"
"Nope."
"Shut the hell up Axton."
"Hey you asked a question butterfly. I was just answering it."
"You guys please don't start that shit right now." Mason said and got up from where he was sitting.
"Hey shortfry over here started it."
"No I didn't, you did."
"How you asked the question?"
"You started it because you in a place where no one wants you."
"Is that so? Cause it looks like Mason wants me here." I walked towards him and pointed a finger at him.
"Don't no one give to flying fucks wh-,"
"Angel go upstairs." Mason voice cut me off. I turn my body so it was no longer facing Axton, but Mason instead.
"But,"
"ANGEL, GO UPSTAIRS NOW!!!! Before I do it and trust me you don't want me to take you upstairs." I went upstairs and straight to our bedroom. I'm upset because of how things quickly turned down there. I was alright but than again anytime the devil spawn is in the room my mood can change faster than a girl can change her mind. The bedroom open and comes in the master himself. He say on the bed and just stared at me which made me really uncomfortable, which is really weird.
"Angel, what in the world have gotten into you?" Is he for real right now.
"Are you serious right now? What gotten into me?"
"Do I look like I'm playing. Yes what haven gotten into you. You been acting weird for the past couple of days. Like you just started downstairs with Axton for no reason" Fuck Axton he can suck my left toe
"Really. And nothing seemed to idk changed our came into this house for you think that's why I've been acting weird."
"Nope." I rubbed my hands down my face as I bit the inside of my cheeks.
"I should really beat your tall ass right now."
"Angel ca-,"
"No don't you fucking Angel me. I deserve to be pissed at you even more than that. I'm not even mad that you let him stay here anymore, I'm mad at what have been happening since he been here. He had run me out of my house almost everyday and sometimes do it to the kids, he raised an hand at our little girl, he insults me every damn day, he even gets all your attention. I don't understand and you let him do all of it you even pick his side over mine, or you just never let me explain. Don't you love me? Or do you just love the ideal of having a person around you?" He just looked at me with a look on his face that I just couldn't explain. I just fold my arms and dropped my head looking to my right before I said my next words.
"Mason, do you love me?" He looked up at and stated silent. I moved closer to him that standing in between his legs.
"Please give me a answer." He turned his head away to not look at me and bit hid lip. I kissed his cheek before my body got cold and my heart dropped. I walked away about to walk out off the room before I stopped at the door.
"I guess that's my answer huh."
"Wait. Angel-,"
"I don't care Mason." I said and went back downstairs, hearing him come down right after me. He walked all the way into the living room but he didn't sit down
"Soooo how your pet talk go." Axton said from the chair that mason was standing in front of.
"Shut the hell up Axton."
"Oooh you bite now. Well well how nice." I looked between him and Mason before I let out a breath of air.
"Mason I will give you one last time to answer me." I said.
"Mason don't you love me? Or is it him?" I said those last few words coming out in a sour voice.
"Why would he love you when he have someone more mature like me?" He said walking up from behind mason and putting his arm around him. I swear I wanted to do nothing more than to cut off all his body parts.
"No one asked you, you fucking bitch. Now keep your damn mouth shut" he crossed his arms and just stared me down. Like I give a flying fuck. My attention turned back to Mason as I fixed my mouth to ask my question again.
"Now again without an interruption. Mason do you love me?" He looked so unsure again and that right there was breaking my heart more. When he drooped his head without a word I had got my final answer as tears started to fill my eye sight.
I went into the hallway and sent a quick text to someone to come pick me up. Then I went into the kids room and packed both of their overnight bags. I woke them up and I hated to that but I had to. I put their shoes and jackets on them.
"Daddy what's going on?." Austin said still half asleep.
"Nothing we are just going out for a little bit." He didn't reply just rocked back and forth. I carried Ari and grabbed Austin hand. I put their bags on my shoulder and walked out of their room and back upfront. Still not one word was said to me so I just spoke up as I heard a horn beep from outside
"I'm leaving and I'm taking the children with me. Goodbye Mason." And with that I was gone.
Mason's P.O.V.
I watched as Angel walked out with the kids with him. The door closed and I looked out of the window as he was putting the kids in the whoever car that was before he got into the front seat. The car drove off and I turned to look at Axton. Who had the biggest smile on his face as I hung my head.
"You won."
"I always do Mason."
I can't fucking believe this.
