Chapter 19

Mason P.O.V.

"What the hell!!!!! Did you kill him?"

"No, I wouldn't kill him myself that's to messy. I shot him in his shoulder and he fell hitting his head kinda hard, so are you gonna help me or not."

Killing him yourself would be messy like this isn't messy enough? Yet I wish he did hit his head a little harder so it had killed him. I went over to Axton feet and helped Dante lift him up into the chair in the corner of the room. I don't know whether to be happy he's out cold for a while or be scared that when he gets up he's going to murder Dante with his own hands. I guess I can be scared later. I wiped my hands off walking away from Axton unconscious body.

"So old buddy of mine you wanna tell me what you're doing with that thing that's trying to kill me siting in the corner of the room?"

"Do I really have to explain?" I said rubbing the back of my head. He thought about it for a minute putting his finger over his chin.

"Is your father making you do it?" I rolled my eyes and shook my head,

"More like he's making my father make me do it. But why did he bring me here, what did you do to him."

"Are you serious! Again? You can't do this again it was hard watching you do it once, but to do it twice. Mason."

"I know, but if I don't I can go to prison....maybe even worst and I can't protect my loved ones and family.....if I still have one, if I'm too far from them. Besides you know I only did it for that family because I stopped."

"So why are you with them again they should be finished with you?"

"They are, but he's not. He doesn't like how I got out of it with his family and decided to do work of his own and just drag me along knowing I won't say a thing." He crossed his arms and shook his shoulders.

"I still don't like this."

"Neither do I, but you didn't answer my questions? What is so wrong between you guys that he had to come here in the middle of the night." He laughed nervously rubbing his hands together.

"I wish we saw each other under better circumstances he came over here because I-,"

"-Talk too much." Dante body fell to bed as Axton was now standing in front of me with no emotion running across his face. He rolled his eyes and walked past me.

"He's fine now come on so I can patch up my shoulder."

"Aren't you gonna tell me what you did to him?"

"No."

"Are you gonna tell me what we are doing here since you just knocked out an old friend of mine and not tell me why?"

"Are you gonna stop questioning me and come on or shall I just leave you here?" I am the one who drove us here he can't leave me here even if he tried.

"By the way your keys are no longer in your back pocket." He said while he was walking out the door and swinging my car keys around his finger.

God damnit. The ride back home was so quiet and unpleasant that even blanking made it weird. I couldn't get my mind off of Dante or Axton well being. Confusing right? But we just left Dante unconscious body laying in his bed, what if something happens or what if he hit him hard enough to give him a concussion? And now Axton got a wounded should which means he's about to be bitchy for a few day. Lucky me, but I guess I allowed myself to get into this situation huh? We finally got back to the house and I went to go get my first aid kit before he said something that I wouldn't want to hear. I sat next to him and he took off his shirt so I could start treating his wound.

"What the hell! That hurts like hell." He yelled.

"It's either sit here and take it or I can leave the bullet in your shoulder and not treat you at all." He stayed silent as I finally took it out, but doesn't mean he didn't keep moving. I cleaned his shoulder and wrapped it. He got up and rubbed it for a few seconds before he grabbed his shirt.

"Thank you."

"Don't thank me I can't have you bleeding all over the place." He rolled his eyes and turned to walk up the stairs.

"And I'm sorry."

He's what???

Sorry that it's short and that I took forever to update, but hey I am now officially a high school graduate and on my way to college. Y'all know I can't forget about you guys.
