Raindrops slid down the windowpane, obscuring my vision as I stared out. I could see blurry shapes of barren trees, and the dull green of the grassy fields that surrounded the small country house. I wished to explore the outside world, feel the raindrops on my face, but I was confined to this room. I didn't know why I was thrown in here, but when I asked the empty house, I was answered with silence. All windows and doors were locked and soundproof, so all I could do was sit and watch everything from my window, wishing I could leave.
