Hinata's POV
~~~~~~~~~~
Kageyama and I were in the gym, him tossing to me as I hit the ball across the net feeling amazingly satisfied. Last year we didn't get along at all. But now I can proudly say that he's my crush and best friend.
Yes, crush. He may be a little awkward, but come on he's hot, can play volleyball, AND knows his shit. That's boyfriend material if I've ever seen it.
" Oi, Hinata." He called me as I jumped back onto the floor. "Yeah? What's up?" I asked as I ran and got the ball putting it back with the others in the cart. "Come on we gotta go change it's 10." I looked back at the clock. Well poop.
"Okay!" I said happily as I walked right behind him and went to my bag taking off my knee pads and shoes, while he just went with his shirt. Thank you so much Jesus for this moment in time.
Now if you don't know Kageyama... well he's not ashamed of his body like I am. He's got some toned abs and a well built chest, I can't stop looking at him sometimes. I instantly snap out of it, my face insanely red and go change.
I put on my sweatshirt and sweatpants and walk out. Kageyama changed into his sweatpants and a muscle shirt. He grabbed his bag and waited for me to walk with him home.
"Kageyama... I've got a question"
"Go ahead" he said looking down at me.
"How did you get so good at volleyball?"
He stopped and looked down at me, his piercing blue eyes looked right into my soul as he thought of a suitable answer. "My mom." He finally said.
"Your mom?" I repeated looking at him. "Yeah...she used to play and wanted me to as well since I have no siblings" he said looking foreword not looking at anything in particular, just wanted to look away from me.
"When can I meet her?" I said in a hopeful voice. He choked and stopped again grabbing at the back of my sweatshirt. "You really wanna meet her?" He said searching in my eyes.
"Yes."
~we've got a time skip here~
He took my to this old abandoned looking area and opened a huge wooden gate. He started to walk through a.... graveyard?
"Kageyama...I-I don't like graveyards or spooky things you know this...." I said as I looked around. He held his hand out to me and I held it tightly, closing my eyes and letting him lead.
We stopped at an old broken gravestone and on it said what I wished it didn't say.
R.I.P~ to a mother who loved the world
I looked at Kageyama, tears in his eyes as he bent down and patted the ground. "She's right here.." he choked out looking down. My eyes widened and I was at a lost for words. And I thought of something that might cheer him up.
"She loved the volleyball so much she gave that talent to you..." I said smiling sadly at him and he looked up at me and wiped his eyes. "She would've loved you Hinata," he said grabbing my hand. I blushed as he bent down to look at me.
"Kageyama.... I- I've always wanted to tell you that I-" I was cut off by his lips on mine. I mentally screamed and wrapped my arms around his neck.
He pulled away and smiled at me telling me to continue.
"I've always had a thing for you..."
"I have too, you little small Carrot."
