Asahi's Hair Cut

Nishinoya was a third year now, and as a third year his job was simple. To take care of the young Karasuno birds before their big breaks as volleyball stars. Except the moron didn't know how to teach hitters or setters.

"WHAT?! THE THIRD YEARS FROM LAST YEAR ARE COMING?!" Tanaka, the new ace said to Ukai. Nishinoya's eyes widened and smiled widely. He missed his senpais a lot.....maybe some more than others.

"Yes, they are," Ukai said smiling slightly. "How else are we going to show this underclassmen how impressive our alumni are?" Ukai said proudly with hands on hips.

"Is Asahi Azumane going to come to?" A skinny freshman asked. "OF COURSE!" Tanaka said puffing his chest out. "Our old ace is even better than your senpai right here!" Tanaka said laughing while being praised by the other young ones. Nishinoya raised an eyebrow at the freshman.

"Interested in our great flying ace, hmm?" Nishinoya smirked and saw the boy's reaction. Bright red cheeks bloomed and Noya took a step back. "H-he is the reason I joined..." the freshman said rubbing the back of his neck. Noya froze and twitched a little at the boys bluntness.

"Ho-" "EVERYONE, welcome the old third years!" Ukai called out. Everyone lined up at the doors and saw three very tall and 2/3 were muscular beyond belief. "Daichi Sawamura,old captain! Sugawara Koushi, setter and co-captain! And finally, big shot Asahi Azumane, Ace!

All three walked in and Noya was taken aback when he noticed Asahi. For many of the following reasons:
1. Asahi was a lot taller which was unfair, he's gotta be about 6'3, now.
2. Muscular arms showed through the white shirt, which Noya enjoyed, but the last reason is what struck him the most....
3. His hair was cut as short as daichi's with some... hair gel slicked and spiked in the front.

Oh no...Noya thought, this was unfair. The last time Noya ever saw Asahi with short hair was..... never! How can he look that attractive with short hair?!

Asahi stepped up and raised an arm, "wing spikers and middle blockers are with me. We're going to do some hitting lines!" Asahi called out. "Noya, would you like to receive?" Asahi said to Nishinoya.

"Yes! Of course Asahi~San!" He smiled widely and went to the other side of the net. "Since we're just getting started...I feel like I should show these young ones how it's done." Asahi said with a smirk, and Noya swore he could feel his heart pound in his face.

"Suga! Mind throwing me a toss?" Suga smiled and Daichi went along grabbing a ball. "Now watch closely.." Asahi said. Suga set the ball perfectly and Asahi moved quickly to the ball and deep brown dark eyes saw where Noya was, connected to an open spot, and with force behind the ball, spiked it down with incredible force.

The one freshman's face flew redder than anything Noya has ever seen, and he didn't really like that.

But what he did like was that spike. Damn, and Noya thought he couldn't get any better. "And that kids, is how you'll hopefully be... as an ace" he flashed a smile and the first years smiled wide. He even got confidence in himself as well....this guy.

"Oh! That reminds me, we were doing hitting lines... so let's see what your made of" Asahi said smirking. I tossed the ball to Suga as he set the first years, Asahi standing on the other side of the net. They all were doing suprisenly well, until the flirty freshman, hit it far instead of down and it was going a great speed towards Asahi.

"Asahi-san! Ball!" I yelled trying to get his attention. He moved his arm in front of his face and the ball whacked his forearm and shot back to the court. And my god Asahi looked so confused and a lot more angrier with his hair now shorter. "Wh-" before he could ask, Daichi blew the whistle and shouted we were doing some team up 2 on 2's.

"Oi, Noya?" Asahi asked me, putting out his fist and so did I, doing a lil' fist bump. Reminder on my list to tell this man my crush on him.

We ended up playing that freshman and he was teamed up with Hinata. The freshman's name I figured out, was Thoshima, he hit the ball down trying to of course impress the future coach, but I was quick to react, bumping the ball up and letting Asahi set me up.

"Backrow!" I called. "Noya!" Asahi shouted setting the ball for me. I jumped up, maybe not as tall as Shouyou, but I got pretty far, and spiked it, landing right where I new shouyou wouldn't get it. "YEAH!" We exchanged high fives and by the time we were done with practice, we had only lost twice.

I was whiling my face when Thoshima came up to me blushing his face of.
"U-um....Nishinoya-San?" He asked stuttering. "Yes??" I asked. "D-do you like Asahi-senpai?" My eyes widened, and I felt very protective from somewhere....

Somewhere....boiling

Thoshima gasped and put his hands up. "Nishinoya-San! You love him!?" He whisper shouted.

Now you see, in a moment like this, where someone's got you found out....

You lie.

But I didn't

"Yes, I do love him. I have ever since my first year. Is there a problem with it?" I asked interested. He smiled and shook his head. "No but when you were warming up he said we should be happy we have such a reliable libero on our team." My fave grew pink and I grabbed my towel, gym bag, and started walking out.

About 5 minutes later I hear a very familiar voice. "Noya! What the hell! Wait around for your senpai jeez," Asahi said smugly as my face burned. I shivered but only from the cold. He looked down and saw me shivering, he instantly loosened up and started taking his jacket off.

"Asahi-s-San?" I shivered.

"Relax Noya, take it" he gave me a black sweatshirt with 'azumane' on the back. It reached to my lower thighs.... I sighed in relaxation "mmm, thank you Asahi-San" he smiled and I felt the blush grow on my cheeks.

"Well," he started. "You are a very well trusted libero, and I couldnt imagine volleyball without you" just that making me blush even more. I grabbed him by the shirt and pressed my lips to his, feeling how warm they were.

All I knew was I had to explain everything
