Alexander POV
Alexander sat at his desk in the office writing. It wasn't anything special, just something that had come to his mind. He formed it in his mind: a guy who everybody admired. When people heard his name they thought about what a hero he was. He saved others from danger and charmed the ladies with not only his great personality, but also his charm and good looks.

That is the man that he aspires to be.

He scribbled the words as they poured out of his brain until his girlfriend, Eliza, called him from the other room. "Alexander! I just got a text from Angelica!"

Alexander's pencil broke and he sat up. Angelica? Her image instantly came to mind. She had a strong personality and stressed her beliefs. Her sarcasm and wit caused many to dislike her, but he found it charming. He thought of her beautiful, dark curls and her gorgeous smile. His heart practically melted in his chest.

Eliza stepped into the office, "She says that she's coming home for her birthday!"

"That's great!" The corners of his mouth turned up.

She walked over to his desk, "What are you writing?"

"A story about a hero who saves a city-"

"Alexander, you- you write like- like you're running out of time," she said trying to come up with a good comparison, "but you always write about the same thing!"

"This time it's different though! Read it!" He sprang up from his chair.

"Alexander-"

"It's going to be a hit this time!" Alexander looked at his paper and stopped.

They sat in silence until Eliza found her words, "I'll leave you to your work, honey."

"Thank you, Betsey."

She smiled and shut the door.

He sat down in his chair. He began to think, Eliza just wasn't as ambitious as him, that's all. But do you know who was? Angelica.

His mind wandered off to half a year ago. Angelica and him sat in the bathroom stall. He buttoned his pants and straightened his tie. "That was-"

"Perfect," Angelica took the words out of his mouth.

Alexander smirked, "Yeah."

She slipped her tank top over her head. His heart began to race, slow down Alexander. She was amazing. How could any woman be that great?

She smiled and his heart melted. Nobody ever made him feel like this. Angelica stepped into her heels and he couldn't help himself. Alexander shoved her against the stall, and pressed his lips into hers as she ran her delicate fingers through his tousled hair.

She stopped kissing him and whispered, "Will I see you again?"

"I hope so."

He felt her smile and a rush of emotions ran through him. He wanted to do something. He needed to do something. He grabbed a pen out of his pocket and a piece of toilet paper. His quickly scribbled on it, "My phone number."

"Thank you, Alexander."

He smiled and she left the stall. After a few clicks from her heels, the bathroom door slid shut. Alexander fixed his hair and walked back out to the club.

His eyes adjusted to the dark and he saw Angelica walking back to her sisters. That Eliza sure was something.

At bar he ordered a scotch. The bartender slid his drink over and he grabbed the glass to take a sip. Hopefully he'd be getting a phone call soon.

He did get a phone call, but-

Alexander didn't want to think about it, it made his heart ache.

He returned to his work and began writing again.
