The One That Got Away

again

Alfred's POV

"dinners ready!"Matt yelled and we walked to the  table and sat down 

"smells great what is it?"Arthur asked

"well since you are a foreigner my brother made poutine and Caesar salad even though Caesar salad isn't Canadian"I said as my brother brought in the food

"yeah, its not the best but I hope you like it"Matt said sitting down with us.

"so how did university go Matthew?"Arthur asked

"great I took fine arts because I want to be a artist of any kind really"he said as we started to eat.

"thats nice"

"so what books have you written i'm curious?"I asked 

"well I have written some books I will give you the names later, but i'm working on editing my business partners book he wants to write thats why i'm here"Arthur said sighed

"well thats nice, I still can't believe that you too know each other its weird"I said and looking at Matt and Arthur

"well I never thought that the 'really British guy that was handsome' would be my old teacher!"Matt said I blushed and stared at the table

"really British guy that was handsome?!"Arthur smirked looking at me

"those's weren't my exact words!!"I yelled 

"your as red as a tomato"Matt laughed

"SHUT UP!"I said and Arthur smiled

"its quite fine"he said and I blushed even harder if that was even possible 

"so to help my hopeless brother I will change the subject"Matt said and I nodded quickly "your business partner is the guy that got you the job at the school?"Matt asked

"yeah he is, do you know him?"Arthur asked

"yeah he gave me the money for this house, it was his back then and payed for half of my university"Matt said nervously

"that guy is creepy as hell, he has a thing for my brother and is totally a pervert"I sighed 

"don't I know it, I known him since my high school days"Arthur said. 

"i'm done!"I yelled

"so fast how we were talking the whole time!?"he asked looking at my plate

"i'm a fast eater of course!"I said and Arthur sighed. We talked and little bit more and they ate as I ate a pudding cup from the fridge as dessert. Arthur was a pretty cool guy, and my brother seems to like him. He is handsome I guess he does have bushy eyebrows though, then I realized that I was staring and I looked over at the wall instead.

Later in Arthur's POV

we sat down and talked some more I checked my watch it was 10:00pm "I have too go, thanks for the great dinner, see you later"I said getting up

"nice to see you again Mr.Kirkland"Matthew said

"its been soo long call me Arthur now"I said and he nodded

"I will walk you out"Alfred said getting up and walking me to the door. "how long are you going to be here?"

"a month or two it depends how the business goes with my Business partner"I sighed I didn't really want to spend two months with him but now that I have Alfred maybe I will

"well then you will have to come over here way more!"Alfred smiled and I smiled back and waved

"of course, good night!"I said walking out and walking up the street to the Hotel I stayed at.
