~Back to Normal~
I woke up to James stroking my face. I remembered what had happened last night, unfortunately. I was scared to the point where I never wanted to go back to my room. I would sleep on the couch everyday if I had to. I didn't care. I smiled at James and he smiled back. Jazzy and Logan walked in and I rolled over to face them.
"Good morning!" Jazzy greeted.
"Is it? I guess I didn't get the memo," I replied, bitterly.
"Are you okay?" Logan asked, kneeling down in front of me.
"I guess. I mean, not really, but I will be."
Jazzy and Logan gave me a hug as I stood up. I started to cry, but stopped myself before I could. Just then, Cody and Michelle walked in. Michelle gave me a hug, and then everyone released me.
"Hey guys. How are you?" I asked.
"Pretty good. Our one year anniversary is coming up soon."
"Awesome!"
We all went to get some breakfast to take my mind off things. Kendall and I split a biscuit with strawberry jelly. Everybody else had eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns. After I finished eating, I sat down on the grass and sang to myself.
"You don't seem very happy," Jake admitted, sitting down next to me.
"I've had better days." Jake put his arm around me and I sighed.
"It's gonna be alright. It may not seem like it now, but it will be."
"You know, I'm upset about what happened last night, but earlier this week, I overheard Katelyn and Drew saying that James was thinking about breaking up with me..."
"Well if he did, he would be an idiot."
"Why would you say that?"
"You're smart, funny, talented, and beautiful. Any guy would be stupid to let you go."
"You mean that?"
"Of course I do. I know that if I was your boyfriend, I'd never let you go."
He kissed me on the cheek and I gave him a hug. When we pulled back, I stared into his eyes and he leaned in, kissing me on the lips.

I sat in Logan's room on his chair. I had told him I needed to talk to him. He came in and shut the door, sitting down next to me on the couch.
"What's going on, Kynli?" he asked, worried.
"Did James say anything to you about breaking up with me?"
"No, why? Did he? Oh, Kynli, I'm so sorry," he apologized, hugging me.
"He didn't break up with me." Logan let me go.
"Then why do you ask?"
"I heard Katelyn and Drew talking about it."
"Well, just forget about it then," he shrugged it off, getting up to leave.
"I can't," I called after him." He stopped in his tracks and turned around.
"Why not?"
"Because I wish he would've broken up with me."
"What? Why?"
"...Jake and I kissed."
"You and Jake kissed?!" he almost screeched. I sat there speechless as he stared at me. "Why?"
"I don't know! He was saying all this nice stuff and he kissed me. Promise you won't tell James."
"I'm not sure, Kynli. This is a pretty big deal."
