"Hi Jolene." Roman greeted looking at her.

"Hey." She hugged him purposely shrugging Eleanor's hand off. "Where have you been the whole of last week and these last few days?" She asked him.

"I was busy." He simply answered.

"Too busy to answer my texts and calls?" She asked him with an arched brow. "I was going to ask you to accompany me tonight." She pouted.

"Well it's much more appropriate to bring my girlfriend, so I asked her to accompany me tonight."

"G-girlfriend?" Jolene stuttered stumbling back as if she'd been shot.

"Yes." Roman nodded reaching out for Eleanor's hand and pulling her to his side. "My girlfriend." He assured.

"B-b-but Roman you've never had a girlfriend before." She said in disbelief.

"Well there's a first time for everything." He smiled down at Eleanor who smiled back.

"Excuse me but may you please make your way to your seats. Dinner will be served shortly."

"Nice bumping into you again Jolene." Roman gave her a pat on the shoulder sealing their fait as nothing more than friends.

Jolene found everything striking her in the heart where it hurt most. She wanted be his first girlfriend. She wanted to be the one he flaunted around everywhere they went and she wanted to be the one he showered with gifts and love regardless of where they were.

Eleanor glanced back at Jolene to see her still standing there looking confused and shocked by all the information.

"So when were you planning on telling me that I'm you're girlfriend?" She asked him with a wide grin.

"Tonight."

"Really when?" Shs asked him.

"What do you mean when? I said tonight." He chuckled pulling out her seat.

"Roman I meant when tonight?" She asked him with an eye roll.

"Tonight." He simply shrugged.

She huffed deciding not to say anything. She saw Gabriel sit besides Roman and engage into a conversation. Eleanor's eyes percked as she looked around for Kyle.

"Who are you looking for?" She hears Gabriel asked.

"I'm looking for Kyle have you seen him?" She now looked at him.

"Yeah he told me to tell you he had an emergency about his grandma." He smiled at her.

"Oh I'll talk to him later or tomorrow morning." She smiled at him. "So how have you been holding up? I see you look much more relaxed from our last incounter." She grinned.

He leaned closer making her lean closer. "Because I don't have to deal with certain people." His eyes travelled a certain direction for a brief moment before he sat upright.

Eleanor looked over to where he had looked only to see Jolene drowning herself with champagne. Eleanor sat up and shared a knowing look with Gabriel.

"Am I missing something here?" Roman asked.

"No." She shook her head. "Nothing at all." She shot him a wide smile.

Soon their food began to arrive. During the main course she felt her seat being pulled making her look up middset sucking in some pasta. She looked up to see Roman putting his hand behind her chair. He leaned over and wiped off some pasta sauce from the corner of her lip.

"Finish, alright?" He whispered momentarily.

Straight after he had said that he went back to talking to everyone not giving her time to respond. Once she had finished up Roman had immediately took a hold of her hand and pulled out of the main hall.
