¤Chapter 53¤

Eleanor's head lifted off the pillow as she heard birds chirping outside. Her hair a mess falling in front of her eyes and her one leg along with her one foot hanging out her bed. She quickly jumped up realising that she hasn't attended to the twins this morning.

She grabbed Roman's shirt off the floor and started buttoning it up as she thanked Roman for this one time that he had his shirt laying around. She grabbed a hold of the door handle and opened the door to see the twins not in their cots.

She rushed downstairs only to see Roman in the living room feeding Lucky his bottle as Mircale fiddled with a toy. Eleanor smiled before walking up to him.

"You know you could've woken me up." She kissed his temple.

"I know but you looked like you needed the rest." He smiled at her.

Eleanor nodded as she stretched and yawned. She walked towards the kitchen as she fixed her hair. "Have you eaten yet?"

"No." He replied. "Waffles sound good." He suggested with a smile.

Eleanor let out a small laugh. "With chocolate chips in them?"

"And fruits as toppings." He added.

"Alright." Eleanor smiled.

After she'd served them both breakfast they ate with the birds chirping around happily.

"Papa will be here with everyone at noon." Roman informed.

"By everyone do you mean Fiona as well?" She asked glumily.

"Unfortunately yes but papa seems to love her so she has to come." Roman replied even though they both knew Romaine didn't love Fiona. Romaine hasn't been able to look at another woman the same why he'd looked at Elizabeth, his late wife.

The rest of the morning went off with them preparing themselves and the twins for everyone. Once Eleanor had put the twins to sleep Roman had went ahead and started with the barbeque.

With Roman busy with the meat Eleanor got the rest of the food ready. As she were half way done Hannah and Romero had arrived with the kids.

"Elley Elley!" Flynn repeated as he ran towards her.

Eleanor met him half way so he wouldn't fall flat on his face. She lifted him off the ground giving him a big hug. "Oh I missed you buddy. Did you miss me?" She asked him.

He nodded with a big smile. Eleanor gave him one last squeeze with a kiss to the cheek before greeting Romero with a hug and Hannah as well. Luke entered and Anna followed right after.

"Aunt Elley." Luke gave her a smile. "How are you doing?"

"I'm doing great, how about you?" She asked him.

"Good." He smiled.

"Anna." Eleanor said in greeting with a nod.

"Aunt Elley." Anna returned the nod.

Eleanor was taken by surprise as Anna said 'Aunt Elley.' She didn't have time to quiz her about it when Danielle suddenly appeared at the open door with a bottle of wine and gift basket along with her coat and handbag.

"Hey!" She greeted enthusiastically.

"Hi." Eleanor beamed back with the same amount of enthusiasm.

"Well these are for you." She hand her the gift basket and wine as she kissed her cheek.

"Thank you." Eleanor smiled.

"No problem." Danielle said before walking off to greet everyone else.

As she were about to close the door she noticed a hand on the handle. Romeo walked in with his fiancé.
