after what felt like a year on a plane, actually 15 hours. but who's counting? right?
I hopped of the plane and somehow word I would be arriving got out to the press, so paparazzi met me first thing walking out of the airport.
I just made my way to my pre-ordered uber and decided to get straight to my hotel.
**hotel
"hi, one room for Meredith Walker please." I stand tall over the short counter of the hotel and address the small blonde lady smiling at me.
"uhm, well hun. its not showing your room. are you sure you booked with us?" she scrambles on the computer typing a little and then looking at me.
"no, no. I'm sure. did you find anything with the name Meredith Walker?" I get nervous
"no, I'm sorry." she gives me a look of pity and I move out of the way for the next person checking in.
I sit on the couch they had in the wreck room of the hotel to try and figure out what I can do for the time being here. I pull out my computer and try to figure another hotel out. but I wasn't finding any openings for tonight, everything was pretty much booked.
I tilt my head to the side a bit and look out the glass windows of the hotel and realize that the photographers still didn't give up. they were lined up just to get an off guard picture.
I lean my head back against the couch and sigh, in out of the country and don't know really anyone in this area. I don't have a hotel I can stay. paparazzi are overflowing the parking lots and front door. is a train wreck.
I feel someone close to me, maybe it was just the wind but I feel a pair of eyes staring closely at me, so i open my eyes to see......
