This is for Skybolina, xDoodlesx, and Blackstar_Senpai, who requested this wonderful cinnamon bun. My smol bean, my sun. lol Anyways, hope you enjoy!

It wasn't anything special really, your quirk, but it did get the job done. You loved the thrill of scaring your classmates to death as you phase through walls. The quiet squeaks of terror that would escape their mouths as you became translucent and held objects up in the air, seemingly making them levitate, was music to your ears. You never took it too far, and no one had gotten injured, but it was just funny to pull harmless pranks on your 'mostly' unsuspecting victims.

Especially one green-haired, freckled boy with a smile that rivaled the sun...

He never suspected a thing. No matter how many times you ran your hands through his hair, or pinched his cheeks, or even picked up his notebooks from right underneath his nose, he was never prepared and would always yelp in surprise. All were excuses to get closer to him, to be able to talk to him, to touch him, with an intimacy greater than that of your friendship. He never suspected a thing...

Although, a quirk like yours, with your 'ghost-like' abilities, was not suited for a situation like this. There was nothing you could do to alleviate the headache that the others were giving you on this cramped, god-forsaken bus. They were all talking too loud, showing off their quirks in miniscule ways so as to not destroy the vehicle, and just being generally annoying. You were all stuck in traffic, an hour having already passed and the bus hasn't moved from its spot.

Usually, you would have joined in on the chaos, but you were tired. You were supposed to be at school by now, coming back from a training exercise that you had all just completed, but no, instead you're being pushed against poor Izuku to your right as you scooted away from the one-sided argument Eijirou and Katsuki were forming to your left. You already had your arms crossed, hugging yourself to try and take up as little space as possible. You should have invested in noise-cancelling headphones like your pessimistic teacher had done...

You sighed, casually looking ahead and locking eyes with Shouto. You both nodded to each other once before parting glances. He understood your pain.

Seconds later you heard Izuku let out a surprised gasp, causing you to look his way. He was focused on the hands on his lap, although his eyes looked glazed, lost in thought. This was a regular occurrence, and soon he began to mumble deliriously to himself. He seemed to be reevaluating his performance, whispering to himself about what he could have done better. Although this exercise was just a practice, and everyone was doing pretty well today, so you didn't see the need for him to berate himself.

You pursed your lips, humming as you concentrated on activating your quirk. You let a small smile adorn your face, giddy with excitement as you turned your right arm completely invisible. Izuku wasn't paying you any attention at all right now, letting you complete this task with no difficulty. In the middle of his muttering you brought your hand up, only disactivating your quirk once your index finger touched his lips, making it seem as though your hand appeared from thin air.

He flinched, jumping back into his seat with a gasp. You kept your finger on his lips even as he looked your way, the flushed cheeks he had before now turning into a fierce red that covered his entire face once he noticed that it was you. You grinned, happiness radiating through you at his reaction.

"Geeze, Izuku... You did great today, so quit doubting yourself." You offered him a comforting look, taking your hand off to let him speak.

He let out a sigh of relief, sitting up straighter in his seat as he sent you a shy glance. "You really think so..."

You nodded your head. "Of course, and this time you don't even have to go to Recovery Girl for any injuries."

He hummed thoughtfully before glancing at his right hand. He nodded once before looking your way, eyes displaying his appreciation clear as day. "You're right. Thanks, [First Name]..."

You averted your eyes once you felt the bus stop, not having noticed that you had even been moving. Looking outside the window behind you, you could see the school come into view.

Soon enough, you and your classmates departed the vehicle, most chatting excitedly as everyone walked back to the changing rooms. You and Izuku walked side-by-side, Ochako and Tenya discussing who knows what ahead of you, you four forming the same group that you've been in since school started.

You looked at Izuku from the corner of your eye, a gentle smile gracing your lips as you thought about what just happened on the bus. Even if it was for a simple reassurance, you would do anything you could to ease up his worries. His smiles, even the small, nervous ones, made your day. They were your motivation for when the hero course was getting too difficult, or for when your brain was being fried from too much studying. Even if your quirk was only good for getting in a few good scares, that wouldn't stop you from protecting his spirit and determination.

And, maybe someday, that smile that rivaled the sun would motivate you to confess as well...
