This is dedicated to JustMeWoo who has been waiting a long time for this oneshot. I am so sorry about the delay, what with AP Testing, finals, and last minute projects (I had to build a catapult for my Physics class, you guys...), I hadn't any time to upload. Luckily it's summer time now, so I'll definitely have more time to upload my many stories on both Wattpad and Quotev. Anyways, enjoy this rusty work...I'll just be playing some more Fire Emblem Echoes if you don't mind.

The foul taste of bile continued to linger in your mouth, the smell unpleasant as it drifted in the air. Posed pathetically on your hands and knees, you willed yourself to stop heaving lest you attract the unwanted attention of a passerby. Although it is rather early in the morning and not many people tend to walk through this route, you'd prefer to get to school and to teaching as soon as possible without having to convince any witnesses that you were indeed alright. Taking a deep breath, you unsteadily rise, hands clutching your stomach as tears threaten to fall from your eyes. You bring a hand up to cup your mouth, the other unconsciously rubbing circles on your barely protruding stomach. Eyes downcast, you reminisce about how your situation came to be.

It's been a few weeks... I wonder when I'll start to show. It'll be harder to hide then. And yet, the worst thing is that I can tell no one... Especially not your father, little one.

Toshinori Yagi, better known for his persona as All Might, the number one hero. The man has so much to deal with, and with him always being swamped by the paparazzi, you two were forced to keep your relationship completely confidential. You did not want to be another burden that he had to carry, so you had decided to bear the weight of your pregnancy all on your own. And although this unborn child of yours was an accident, that didn't mean you loved them any less. No, in fact, you would do everything in your power to make sure that this miracle of life would never fall into the hands of any villains, this you swore.

You cleared your dry throat, intent on walking on when a rather meek hand tugged at your jacket sleeve. You paled, standing rigidly as you slowly looked over your shoulder, immediately recognizing the fluffy green hair and freckled face of one of your students. You closed your mouth, realizing you had been staring, and turned around fully, giving Izuku a smile as you pretended not to notice your breakfast still splattered all over the pavement behind you. It was no use, however, as you noticed Izuku's eyes dart behind you before his face became full of concern.

"Ms.[Last Name]! Are you alright? I, uh, I don't think you should go to school today..." Ah, how could you have forgotten? Izuku and his mother live quite close to you, and on the walk to the train station you and Izuku sometimes see each other, greeting pleasantly before parting ways. It wouldn't be farfetched to think that he saw you get sick on his walk, and decided to inquire as to what was wrong.

You waved a hand flippantly, desperate to appear appear calm as you tried to ease his worries. "I'm fine, Midoriya. In fact, I'm feeling better already, so there's no need for your concern." That's right, as All Might's successor, Izuku is someone who you absolutely could not tell about your secret. Although he had good intentions, the boy may inadvertently tell All Might about you being pregnant.

Izuku frowned at you, unconvinced, but he decided to drop it. The two of you walked to the train station in silence, your face staring straight ahead as you tried your best to ignore his wary glances. Izuku was rather clever, so you had to try to act normal, or he may figure you out sooner than you'd like...

Half of the day had already passed, and nothing truly exciting had occurred as the teachers and students were excused for lunch. You wanted to partake in the dish that was being served in the cafeteria, but you were still slightly nauseous, so you decided to hold your tongue. You instead began to wander the halls, gazing out the windows to behold the brilliant light blue sky. A smile blossomed naturally on your face, worries forgotten as you took in the beauty of the word around you.

"It seems like nothing could go wrong today..."

And then you heard the loudspeakers above you turn on, the bubbly voice of one of the main office workers broadcasting throughout the entire school. "A villain attack has been reported in a nearby plaza! Any teachers currently available are to lend a hand! Thank you!"

You sighed, closing your eyes momentarily as you placed a hand on your stomach. You realized that it would not be wise to participate as you may hurt yourself or the baby, but it would not be normal if you did not go. You began sprinting through the empty halls on your way outside, hoping that the enemy would be easy to deal with.

"I can't believe I thought this would be easy." You wiped some blood from your cheek, using your other hand to balance yourself out as you leaned on the side of a building. You felt more tired than you usually did, leading to you doing poorly and retreating to the sidelines as you watched some fellow heroes dodge flying debris. The villain you were up against was a mutant whose quirk seemed to give his four arms super strength, which he used to throw around cars and anything else he could get his hands on. You had already been knocked back a couple meters when he threw a park bench at you, and although you would have usually dodged that, your fatigue let it hit you dead center. Luckily you had time to use your armor-like quirk to coat your arms in diamond, holding them in front of you so your stomach was unharmed.

You sighed in relief when wood began to wrap around the rampaging villain, the familiar figure of the newcomer Kamui Woods coming into view. You dropped to your knees, trying to catch your breath. Closing your eyes, you fell forward as you felt consciousness leave you. The last thing you heard were the shouts of heroes telling everyone to assist the injured.

"I see... Thank you for telling me, Recovery Girl."

"Yes, yes, just make sure you take good care of her!" Then the sound of footsteps fading and a door closing...

"I'm sorry, All Might. I saw her this morning. I should have tried harder to keep her from coming to school..."

You opened your eyes slowly, hearing two voices frantically make shushing noises at the other as you awoke. Taking a few seconds to recover from your blurry vision, you instinctively clutched at the bedsheets underneath you. Based on the previous conversation, you could take a good guess as to where you were.

"Ms.[Last Name], how are you feeling?" Vision now clear, you looked to your left to see Izuku gazing at you from another bed, bandages wrapped around his right arm and his head. Huh, looks like he landed himself another visit to Recovery Girl...

You grinned at him weakly. "I'm alright, Midoriya. I just feel a little tired is all."

"A little tired, huh..."

You whipped your head to the right, having momentarily forgotten that there was somebody else in the room. You pursed your lips, averting your eyes when you saw the hurt in Yagi's own sunken pair.

"[First Name], why...?" He looked worse for wear, his eyes pleading with you to explain your actions. To explain why you kept your pregnancy a secret from him, of all people...

You glanced at Izuku, eyes connecting as you hoped your intentions were made clear. He jumped, a little clumsy as he hopped off his bed to leave the room. You lightly coughed once the door closed behind him, trying to clear the awkward air. Your eyes swept across the room as you spoke, too nervous to look directly into Yagi's.

"I just...", dammit, your voice cracked, "I just didn't want you to worry. You already have so much going on, I didn't want to add on to that."

"You fool." You froze, awful thoughts of rejection entering your mind, only to be completely abandoned as he continued. "How could you think of yourself as a burden? I love you, the both of you, more than anything." He reached out and held your hand, spindly fingers interlocking easily with your own. "This just means that I have to work harder and manage myself better. For my family."

You finally gained the courage to look up at him, eyes moist with unshed tears. You squeezed his hand tighter, eyes closing for some well-deserved rest.

"Thank you..."
