Rileys POV

"We have to say goodbye to everyone before we go Rile-"

"Ava, no. You're staying here also I'm not saying bye. Because then I have to explain everything. Brad will eventually tell them - if they care they can dm me." I said with more poison in my voice than intended.

"I am not staying, I'm coming with you. Also I can't believe Brad - he hasn't came round to see if you're okay. What an absolute dick. I really just can't believe him." Ava shook her head whilst sending me apologetic glances.

"I don't want to talk about it. Let's go."

I shoved my suitcase out of the door. We retrieved the key card from the handle locking it.

Then we started a short descent to the elevator.

Brads POV

"Go talk to her." Tristan pleaded to me.

"No. She's the one who wanted to leave." I collapsed onto the couch.

"Brad - you were a dick. But so was she. You're both really tired. Take it first hand from someone who is with you a lot. When you're tired you're a wanker. I know you're upset but think how she is feeling - the only person she knows properly who is here is Ava. The rest are basic acquaintances." Tristan got up from the couch and went to make a drink.

I sat in silence, staring at the red carpet on the floor.

Fuck it, he was right.

I stood up and made it outside the door in seconds.

No keycard in either of the holders.

They can't be gone.

I ran down the stairs deciding not the take the elevator.

I finally made it into the lobby.

My heart sunk. She wasn't here either.

I opened the front door by viciously pulling at the cold metal handle.

She was there.

She glanced up, our eyes met. Her eyes were bloodshot from crying. She tore her gaze at me away. Turning, she tried to get into her taxi. However, I grabbed her hand to try to stop her from going.

"Riley."

"Riley, please."

"You know what - I feel as if I meant nothing to you Brad. But how can I mean something to you? I was thinking -" she tried to carry on but tears strung out of her eyes and sobs fell from her lips.

"I was thinking why would someone like you want someone like me holding them back. And I don't care if you are cringing or if someone says that it is "cringe worthy" it is how I feel."

I didn't know what the say. The words were at the back of my throat, refusing to fall out.

That was when I made the worst mistake anyone could make.

"Goodbye, Brad."

I let her go.
