I woke up with the sudden sound inside the house.
I got up and stretched my arms and legs.
“Okay okay! Now, side pose!” I heard my aunt shouting from the studio so I decided to take a peek.
I saw two teenage girls making poses in front of Aunt Gemi and she was taking their pictures. They stood in front of a green background and there was so much lights and Aunt Gemi was bending and kneeling down the floor and moving again in another spot to take a perfect shot.
I decided not to disturb her and make my own breakfast instead since I saw a cereal box at the table and a sticky note that says, Cereal for my favourite niece! Eat up and oh, here’s some money if you want to go to the mall. I heard there’s a pastry convention today. Check inside the cereal box. :P
I opened the “cerealicious” cereal box and after the plastic which contains the cereal, there was 20 Euros. Awesome! I can really go shopping like crazy with this money!
I quickly finished eating up and headed outside leaving a sticky note that says, I LOVE YOU AUNT GEMI! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I took the spare key Aunt Gemi gave me yesterday and headed to the nearest station. I checked my watch, 10:15am. Still early.
Today’s Saturday so there would be many people using the station so I decided to ask the man in the “help” counter.
“Sir.” I said as I stood from the counter. “Where is the nearest mall here?” I asked.
“Go out the station, cross the street, then turn to the next corner. You’ll see it. Danbo Mall.” He said.
I followed his directions and saw a big mall. It looks...expensive? But I’ll give it a shot.
I went in through the front door which were two glass doors.
“Bonjour mademoiselle.” The guard smiled.
“Bonjour.” I smiled.
I know a little French but not that much.
I entered the department store and saw so much cute dresses!
I looked at it all one by one and decided to buy the violet dress with a tiny ribbon on the middle of the chest then a black leather belt at the waist and it’s until above the knee. Plus, sleeveless. I remembered I had a black coat that I could add into so I just bought the violet dress for 3.8 Euros.
After that, I saw a few girls giggling and holding a paper bag that says, “Pastry Convention 2012”.
I decided to go to the direction from where they come from.
As I walked, I saw more people with the same paper bag in different sizes.
I took the escalator since I saw them all coming from the second floor and when I arrived at the second floor, I saw a board and it was written, “Go to the fourth floor for this year’s Pastry Convention! Get your tongue the taste of a lifetime!”
I took the escalator to the fourth floor and when I arrived, I saw so many booths with names and I could smell the smell of aroma in sweets all around the place.
I decided to get a tray and walk around.
Checking each sweet and price, I couldn’t determine which to buy.
“Bonjour, s'il vous plaît essayer notre nouveau gâteau de thé vert.” A guy smiled.
What did he say? Oh my gosh I didn’t understand!
“Uh...” I said.
He laughed.
“Are you a foreigner?” He asked. He had black jet eyes and long blonde hair. He was also tall and very thin and he wore a chef’s uniform.
“Yes.” I smiled.
“Let me translate, please try our new green tea cake.” He smiled and offered me a slice of green tea cake and it was for 2.13 Euros so I bought it.
I continued looking around and something caught my attention in the middle of the booths, I saw a chocolate and strawberry mousse.
“Voulez-vous essayer notre chocolat et mousse à la fraise?” A very thin guy asked and he was wearing an ordinary shirt and jeans. All I understood in what he said, chocolate strawberry mousse? Chocolat is chocolate and fraise is strawberry.
I looked at him in awe.
“Oh, you must be a foreigner right? You’re just like the chef here.” He laughed and his accent was weird but I understood it.
“Oh, um, I’ll take that since it looks good.” I said and paid him 2.6 Euros.
I decided to sit because I might buy the whole place and Aunt Gemi might kill me.
I sat near the booth where I last bought. The tables were all colored white and even the seats!
I decided to eat first the green tea cake and see what it tastes like.
I took the fork the guy gave me and started eating.
Mmmmm! This is so..I can’t explain it. I could feel myself flying across the blue skies and my body lighting up.
I could feel the taste of green tea in every piece and flavour just melts in your mouth. So yummy! I ate the icing at the top of the cake with the green tea cake and boom! Heavenly yummy!
I suddenly hated myself for eating too fast because one minute the green tea cake was there, and now, poof! Disappeared inside my stomach.
Next was the chocolate and strawberry mousse. The presentation is pretty nice. It has a slice strawberry on top and the shape is like an upside down whistle. The top part is color fuchsia and below it has a dark chocolate and some part that has white cream. It really looks too good to slice it though. But I really want to eat it. I know!
I sliced the front part a little bit then ate it.
At first, the taste was relaxing. I presume this was the strawberry coated part. But as I ate more of the little piece of mousse, I could feel everything mixing. The chocolate flavour and the strawberry were mixing...and I felt this exciting feeling tingling in my body. Like craving for some more but mixed with different emotions. Later on as I took more bites in the middle part of the mousse, I suddenly felt...
