Self-Control (Kakashi Love Story)

Chapter 3

Kakashi's POV

It's been a month and a half now since Lamia has been added to my Team.

It's driving me Crazy.

Her appearance alone makes me want to just hug her and keep her forever, The way she smiles and says my name..

"Kakashi-sensei~"

The sound of her voice ringing in my head. The way her eyes light up when we mention food. The way her laugh sounds like a melody to my ears. The way her lips mov-

No!

Kakashi she's your student!

And that's all it's going to be.

Lamia's POV

It's been about a month and 2 weeks now since I've been in Konoha and the additional member of Team 7 and everything has been going quite nicely. My powers have been kept under control and I haven't done anything to make it seem like I'm stronger than a mere genin.

But there's something I've noticed. Well, not something but Someone. Kakashi-sensei specifically, He's been acting strange when I'm around. Sakura has noticed it too. Did I activate my powers without knowing? I didn't think I so. I've kept them under control for so long! I couldn't slip up.

"All right, training is done for today you can spend the rest of the day doing whatever you want." Kakashi dismissed us and quickly left.

"Yeah!! Lamia-chan wanna go get Ramen? Believe it!" Naruto bounced enthusiastically around me. I just laughed my hands infront of me. "Yeah yeah Naruto, C'mon let's go" I chuckled while wrapping my arm around his shoulders.

Naruto was an amazing friend, Sakura's great too but I need guy friends too y'know. Naruto and I agreed that whenever we get dismissed early, We would go get a bite too eat. Ramen always being the choice. I didn't mind.

Ramen is Love.

Ramen is Life.

We make it to Ichiraku's and take a seat next to each other. We quickly pull out our hands and

"Rock! Paper! Scissors!"

Rock.

and

Rock.

If we get a tie I'll pay for him and he'll pay for me. We grin at each other. Then we both look at the oji-san at the counter.

"Everything on the menu Please!"

Kakashi's POV

"Mio! It wasn't Izami's fault!" Hiori shouted at Mio, tears falling freely down her face as she held the blanket close to her chest as she tried to cover up.

"No Hiori! It's not just Izami's fault, It both of you!! You know how much I love Izami and you stole him from me you whore!!" Mio screamed, angry tears falling down her face as she struggles to control her boiling anger.

"Mio! Don't call Hiori a whore!" Shouted Izami. Mio turned to him. Her eyes blazing with anger.

"You! How dare you do this to me Izami! You're nothing but a playboy. I loved you! Why did you have to sleep with my Baby Sister?!" Mio screamed at Izami.

*PAK!*

Mio slapped Izami right across the face. Her hand slowly making an imprint on his pale face.

Then-

I suddenly heard giggling from nearby. Not just any giggling,

Lamia's.

Not being able to concentrate reading Icha Icha Paradise anymore. I close my book and approach the place where I hear Lamia. I make it to Ichiraku's and I see her. Lamia with Naruto.

I didn't know why but seeing them together, smiling and laughing, eating together.. It made me feel weird in my stomach.

Was I jealous?

I should be happy for them. They seem like they could work out as a beautiful couple.

But why did that make me frown instead of smile?

I held my head as I started to have a migraine.

'I should head home for now I guess'

Lamia's POV

"And she was like 'Nooooooo you can't have another bowl of Ramen sr.' Can you believe that?!?" Naruto screamed. I just nodded slurping Ramen.

"Wow. What a crazy old lady. There's no such thing as too much Ramen." I said blowing the hot soup of my 11th bowl.

"Yeah Iiii knoooow! That's what I said. Then do you know what she did?" Naruto said as he slurped his Ramen angrily.

I stopped eating. "What?"

"She kicked me out! Believe it!" He said, throwing his hands up in the air.

I gasped "Damn. people these days" I said shaking my head. Then we both looked at each other and laughed.

After eating the whole menu. Twice. We paid for each other. Naruto crying as his frog wallet is now empty as we say good bye to each other and I head to my apartment. By the time I reach the floor my room is in, I see a passed out body on the floor. Quickly recognizing who it is. My eyes widen

"Kakashi!"

Kakashi is currently lying down on my bed in my room as I put a cold wet towel above his head.

'A fever huh?' I thought.

I looked at Kakashi who was passed out on my bed. I had to take off his Jounin jacket,sandals and leaf headband since it was covering his forehead. I didn't take off his mask since one, he probably doesn't want anyone to see it that's why he uses it and two, he might get upset I did so. Pushing the curiosity back and checking his fever,

'It's still pretty high' I thought. I could've brought him to a hospital but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Ever since I was a kid I was scared of Needles and the like. Why? I didn't know. It was just something I couldn't face.

I got up from the tiny stool I sat on next to my bed and went to the Kitchen to make some Soup since Kakashi will probably wake up soon.

After making my special homemade chicken soup, I brought some up to my room. When I opened the door Kakashi was still sleeping peacefully on my bed. Checking his fever again, I gave out a sigh of relief. It was going down, it was just a little but it was progress.

"ugghhh" Kakashi groaned as he moved around the bed his back now facing me. His hand moving the blanket down to his stomach. He opened both his eyes looking around, probably processing what's happening and where he is. He moves around to face in my direction, by the time he sees me his eyes widen and he moves his hand to his mask to find it still there. He turns back to me, Shock written in his eyes.

I raise my bowl of soup in his face.

"Want some soup?"
