Finally, we get to read all the weird fanfiction Layla writers in her little book, my goodness what have we gotten ourselves into.
Molly woke up. Her bright blonde hair covered her eyes and she couldn't see. The time lacrima ticked to 1:30. She shut her eyes but couldn't find sleep. Molly stared at the empty ceiling and wondered what Rowen and Jude saw in her. Why did they take interest in her and not some prettier girl? Then she thought about how Jude all the sudden seemed more..... How would one put it? More masculine? More strong? More ...attractive? She changed her train of thought to the grand magic games. Maybe If she were stronger she could be a part of the games..... Like Jude was.
Molly got out of bed and decided to get something to drink. She glanced at Gillian who was fast asleep. Everything was so dark not to mention the hair in her eyes. Slowly but surely she crept down the stairs, feeling the walls around her. After much blind desperation she reached the kitchen of the hotel Fairy Tail was staying in. She could feel the counter....and there was the sink. She reached up a little higher and tried to find the cabinet for a glass, but she couldn't tell if it was there or not or if she was too short.
Molly felt around the floor with her feet for a stool. She couldn't find one but she didn't want to wake anyone by turning on a light.
"Need help?" Someone behind her asked.
It took a moment for Molly to realize who it was.
Jude lit a fire in his palm and smiled. But still she could hardly see, her blonde hair blocked her vision. Brushing her hair to the side, she returned the smile. His face looked red in the firelight but then again her hands looked slightly orange. In the corner Molly spotted the stool and quickly grabbed it. Placing it in front of the cabinet, she turned to Jude who was frozen in the same smiling position he was in earlier. He looked kinda goofy. She opened the cabinet and took out a glass. Turning the faucet she filled the glass with tap water.
Molly began to walk up the stairs when Jude's fire started going out. She glanced back at him and laughed. Jude had fallen asleep. The funny thing was he was still standing. When Jude's fire went completely out she didn't feel the need to feel around to see.
Everything just seemed clearer.
