Remember

"Wonho! How are you?" Jooheon asked.

Wonho, for once was actually smiling.

"I'm good," Wonho told him.

"Is Shownu staying with you?" Jooheon whispered to Wonho.

Wonho nodded his head happily.

Jooheon just smiled and showed off his dimples.

"He makes you happy doesn't he."

"Yeah," Wonho said simply. "He makes me very happy."

"Well, it's nice to see you smile for a change," Jooheon said.

The bell rang and Jooheon went to sit at his desk. The teacher soon walked in and stood at the front of the room.

"Class, we have a new student today," the teacher announced. 

Wonho perked up to see a new short boy walk in. 

"Hi, I'm Yoo Kihyun," the boy said with a smile and bowed. 

"He'll be joining us for the rest of the year, please welcome him and be nice," the teacher said.

Wonho watched the boy as he made his way to his seat. His eyes lit up when he noticed something in his pocket. 

'Is that a bunny stuffy?' Wonho thought.

"Hey, it's Kihyun right?" Wonho asked the boy who was sitting on the bench outside. School had ended and he wanted to ask Kihyun about the stuffed animal in his pocket.

"Uh, yes," Kihyun responded.

"Hi, I'm Wonho, I like your bunny," Wonho said, slowly going into little space.

'Oh, shit why? Why now? He's going to think I'm weird,' Wonho thought in his head. 

"What!?" Kihyun exclaimed and then looked down at his pocket where the small rabbit was sticking out. "Oh, I don't remember putting that there."

"Well, it's really cute, can I see," Wonho said about to reach for the small rabbit.

"NO!" Kihyun practically yelled, shielding the rabbit from Wonho.

Wonho backed away a little shocked at Kihyun's sudden actions.

"No," Kihyun repeated a little more softly.

"Okay," Wonho responded a little uneasy now.

"I'm sorry I yelled, he's just really important," Kihyun explained.

"It's okay, I have an important stuffy too," Wonho said and sat down next to Kihyun.

"You do?" Kihyun asked looking at Wonho with surprise.

"Yeah, its name is," Wonho stopped for a minute. He didn't know if he should say that his bear's name was daddy or not, but he got a better idea. "Shownu."

"Shownu?"

"Yeah, what's your rabbit's name?" Wonho asked with a head tilt.

"Oh, it's Tiny," Kihyun said taking the bunny out and smiling at it. 

"Tiny? That's its name?" Wonho questioned.

"Yup cause it's little," Kihyun said, his voice a little high pitched and babylike. 

Wonho's eyes widened. 

'Did he just talk in a little voice?' Wonho questioned in his head. 

Kihyun noticed Wonho was surprised about his voice.

"Uh, yeah so it was nice meeting you I've got to go now," Kihyun said, in his normal tone of voice, as he stuffed the rabbit back in his pocket. 

"Oh okay, bye," Wonho said and waved at Kihyun as he walked away.

"DADDY! I CAME BACK!" Wonho yelled as he entered his apartment. 

Shownu smiled at Wonho from the couch.

"Hey baby, how was school?" Shownu asked. 

"It was fun, I made a new friend," Wonho said as he sat down next to Shownu.

"Oh yeah? Who is this new friend that's going to take my baby away from me?"

"No one can take me away from you daddy,"  Wonho said with a smile. "But his name is Kihyun and I think he is a little."

"How do you know?"

"Cause he has did a wittle bunny wabbit in his pocket," Wonho said as he fell into deep little space from Shownu's presence.

"Oh really?" 

"Yups," Wonho said with a huge smile.

"You're so cute baby," Shownu said and patted Wonho on the head. 

Wonho quickly got up and ran to his room. Shownu just watched him. 

He came back with a pink choker on, a big galaxy sweater, and no pants. He went back to Shownu and cuddled close to him. 

"You smell nice," Wonho said.

"Well, I did take a shower earlier," Shownu told him, his hand around Wonho's waist. 

"But, you always smell like this," Wonho said simply. 

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah."

Shownu just smiled at the boy. He wanted to stay like this forever, but he knew he couldn't.

"What do you want to eat?" Shownu asked the little who was driving a car along the wall.

"I want to eat you!" Wonho exclaimed.

"Wonho-ah I'm serious," Shownu said looking at Wonho sternly.

"I am too!" Wonho said smiling.

Shownu sighed.

"I can be your dessert but for now, what do you want?"

"Hmmm, chicken nuggets!" Wonho said happily as he continued to drive the car along the walls and floor. 

"Okay little one," Shownu said as he went to make Wonho diner. 

'How can you trust him? You're so stupid.'

The voices were back.

"Leave me alone," Wonho said softly trying to ignore the mean voices in his head.

'No, I don't know why you think you can have friends or even a lover for that matter.'

"No, Wonho-ah's can," Wonho responded.

'No, Wonho-ah's can't cause Wonho-ah is a stupid little kid who will never grow up."

"But Shownu is diff-"

'Shownu isn't different, just don't keep your hopes up. I warned you if he leaves.'

Wonho sighed. He shook off the thought and got up from the floor, leaving his toy car. 

"Daddy, the voices came back," Wonho said, not too much in a little voice but in between his normal tone and his little tone.

Shownu turned around to look at Wonho's sad face.

"What did they say this time?" Shownu asked.

"They said that I'm stupid and don't deserve friends, or you," Wonho said looking down. 

Shownu went over to Wonho and gave him a hug. He hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go. 

"It's alright, they're just lying again okay baby, you do deserve friends, and me. I care about you so much," Shownu told the boy.

A tear slipped down Wonho's cheek. He couldn't help it. He was too easily affected by every little thing. 

"I love you okay just remember that," Shownu said as he stroked Wonho's soft blonde hair. 

"Okay," Wonho said softly. "I'll remember."
