(A/N - I really love this song, and feel like it describes Dayley. Every verse comes with a different scenario, in no particular order, so keep that in mind. Enjoy!)

  He took her to her apartment late that night, they had gone out to dinner with some friends. She ate bad fish and drank some red wine. They danced and just had fun. Her fish was taking a toll on her, along with the alcohol in her system. He got her home, and helped her up. When they made it into the apartment she ran to the bathroom. Derek heard her gag and vomit in the toilet. He came in a held back her hair with one hand and rubbed her back with the other. After she threw up a couple times, she felt like she would be ok. Hayley washed out her mouth and walked to her bedroom. She changed while Derek gave her some medicine to help her feel better. He stayed that night to make sure she would be okay in the night.

  Derek had gone to Hayley's apartment for a few hours after work. They got a chance to sit down and talk, and cuddle without being interrupted. They were watching World of Dance season two which was still unreleased. Hayley had had an extremely long day. Not only did she get up at 6 that morning, she had a jam packed day, and by the time Derek needed to get home it was 1 the next day. They had completely lost track of time. He settled her in bed, and they talked for a while longer, he started to leave and she caught him.

  "Will you stay tonight? It's late and I don't want you to be driving, but also I don't want to be alone."

  "Baby, I would love to, you know that, but if I stay we will talk the whole time. I think you should get some rest." He kissed her forehead before leaving the apartment, locking the door behind him.

  The day he knew he loved her was Christmas of 2015. They couldn't spend the holidays together but they talked every night. On Christmas she FaceTimed him, so both their families could spend the morning together. He loved how she wanted to be with him and his family. She sent his mom her gift for him. He didn't expect anything, when he opened it he started to blush and tear up at how she had remembered. He told her a few months ago he had been wanting a new Rolex watch, one just like his father's and grandfather's. He never told her the type or colors, or anything about it. It was the exact watch of his previous generations.

  "How did you know?" He was totally in love with her, and her dedication to him.

  "I have my ways." She giggled and winked at him. Yep, he loved her.

  "Please don't leave. Hayley-"

  "Derek no. You broke my trust. I can't stay with someone I can't trust." She shook her head in disbelief.

  "Please. I need you. Don't let this go, please." He was distraught, she was his happiness. Without her he didn't know what to do.

  "I'll stay. But you need to explain yourself. And I'm not leaving until I want to stay."

For that night
