I'm usually not a big fan of family dramas.. at all. I mean it when I say I DON'T watch "family love" type of dramas.. but BOYY WHEN I TELL YOU THIS DRAMA EXCEEDS ALL EXPECTATIONS.

AHA!! PSA: YOU WILL CRY AND CRY AND CRY.

I'm going to be honest, I've rewatched most-if not all of the REALLY good kdramas. HOWEVER, I HAVE NOT REWATCHED THIS ONE.

WHY? Because this is the only kdrama that has succeeded in making me cry EVERY SINGLE EPISODE.. and it was hard enough explaining the tears streaming down my face to family when they walked past.

plot: Geum-Bi (Heo Jung-Eun) is only 8-years-old, but she suffers from dementia. She is slowly losing her memory. Her father Hwi-Chul (Oh Ji-Ho) is a swindler. While taking care of Geum-Bi, he learns about the preciousness of life. Go Gang-Hee (Park Jin-Hee) becomes involved with Geum-Bi and Hwi-Chul.

review: This heart-wrenching drama's main focus is on the daughter and her father. The story portrays a different side of the usual kdrama "love", and instead shines light on the true meaning of love between "family".

Please don't judge it based on your usual preference for dramas, and give this one a try. You won't regret it.

When you put death beside young children, you WILL feel sadness gnawing at your heart. This drama will pull your heartstrings and leave you wishing for a much happier life for Geum-bi.

However, the writers and producers did a beautiful job throwing in moments of comic relief to give us a breath of air.

Geum-Bi and her father's relationship is one that we all wish we have with our own fathers! They portrayed their roles so well, it really does leave an unforgettable mark in your heart.

LET ME JUST SHINE SOME LIGHT ON YALL: this girl is just TEN y/o and is SO INCREDIBLY TALENTED FOR SUCH A YOUNG ACTRESS. If you watch interviews or award shows, she's so cute in and out of dramas! I'm looking forward to what she'll turn out to be in 5-10 years, and I hope you guys support her journey too~
