Tessa and Jett looked at each other in confusion as the words popped up on the screen.

  'OFFER ACCEPTED'

"What the hell?!", Jett mumbled, his accent thick.

"What does that even mean?", Tessa groaned. They were both obviously angered. "Do you think they got offered money or something?"

"Maybe. Probably.", Jett answered. He ran his hands through his thick hair, tugging slightly and sighing heavily, as he attempted to rid himself of his frustration.

Tessa questioned again, "So, do we just not get to see our result?"

"I don't know.", Jett answered through barred teeth. "But that would suck. We didn't even get a say in anything."

Noticing how heated he was getting, Tessa approached him and wrapped her long arms around his torso. "Hey, it'll be alright. At least we don't have to go back to the house and separate." She smiled up at him.

He cracked a smile back at her and quietly said, "Yeah, I guess you're right. I still get the girl."

Tess swatted at his chest playfully. "Shuddup. Come on, let's go back to the house and figure out what the hell is going on."

Once the door opened, everyone started yelling at the couple.

"Hey, okay, stop yelling!", Jett unironically yelled. "What offer did you guys get and why did you think it was more important than a truth booth?"

"Yeah, this better be a damn good explanation.", Tess added.

Hadley groaned. "It's not. The team made a stupid decision, in my opinion."

"Well, it's the decision we made, so...", Summer defended.

"More like the decision you made.", Natalia mumbled under her breath.

"I'm just saying that I think it would have been a better move if it was a couple who didn't have a feeling they were a match or a couple that we know would want the money instead of a truth booth.", Hadley insisted. "And obviously they aren't happy about it."

"Yeah, it's just kind of messed up.", Jett agreed. "Because obviously now we're going to stay together since we're not a confirmed no-match. But if that's what the truth booth would have told us, now we're with someone we aren't meant to be with and we have no idea."

Tessa interjected, "Or what if we could have been the team's first perfect match?" She looked around, meeting everyone's eyes. "I like Jett, and, yeah, it's early in the game, but, yeah, I do think we could've been a match."

"But I guess, we won't know.", Erin sighed, pettiness in her voice.

Flynn interrupted the feud. "Before we get into a huge argument, let's just have some drinks and chill, then go to bed so we don't say or do things we regret."

Everyone nodded or shrugged at his suggestion.

"I agree. I need wine.", Tessa pouted and made her way to the kitchen.

Prosper and Hadley made their way outside to the small swing bed and plopped down.

"So...ceremony tomorrow.", Hadley brought up.

Prosper nodded and casually said, "Yup."

Hadley smiled and looked up at the beautiful Hawaiian night sky. The stars were plentiful.

"Guys choice.", she teased. "Who are you picking?"

Prosper finally picked up on what Hadley was hinting at and burst into laughter.
