Music can take nasty, gritty words and turn then into sweet melodies.
But the meaning of the song is still there.
Just like love can make a bad peron good.
Sometimes love will cover up the pain that people inflict or make one obvious to their own pain.
But it is still there.
We make lies for those people.
Hide the nature of the scars behind sickeningly sweet words to make the true nature of our wounds seem minor and harmless.
Tell me, does it hurt more to cover up the pain than to feel it in the first place.
Do the sweet-worded lies make the sting go away?
Does holding in the tears make them evaporate into obvilion?
Or are you left hurting either way
