When Emma was little , her dad passed away of stage 4 lung cancer.

Funny thing was that her dad was never a smoker. She thought that it was her fault that her dad died that way , even though she had nothing to do with the cause of death at all.

 All day , Emma would sit up in her room alone and blame herself over and over again. When she gets home from school day after day , she would always see her mom crying and that only made Emma wish even more she didn't exist.

As the months turn into years ever since her father's passing , her mother started getting into the idea of getting re-married. At first , Emma supported that idea but soon began showing dislike towards her mother's new boyfriend.

You know getting remarried almost all the time never works out? Well , it went down the path of failing for Emma's mother. 

Ever since the failed new relationship , that was when all the troubles started. There would be so many times that Emma will catch her mom drinking alcoholic drinks , one after the other. 

Once , Emma was nearly beaten to death by her mother. Emma even had to put on one of her mother's pink sequined dresses for her friend's birthday party. That was the moment when Emma's life became a life no one would ever want to live.
